Long time has gone since I checked it and put some love into this mod. So might happend that some models broke. Sorry but no time to fix. At least for now.

The wolf with the sword in its' mouth seems to be broken... everything else loads as expected.

That sounds rude. Plz check next time all content first. The model is in the "unused jet new content " bag in the additional content area. Only to give you an idea,... that model took 20h pure working time to create and import to TTS. A homebrew content was planned as I modded this workshop. But DS TBG is a flawed game in its base when you compare it to other board games, so I do not invest more time into it.

It is user created homebrew content, all original workshops are linked. When you look for the official addons from Steamforged Games, I have to say sorry. I will not implement them (because noone scanned them jet in a good quality) and I gave up on this workshop. The game itself is not bad, but there are much better games out there of the same style. (Gloomhaven and KD:M as an example) I am a hardcore Dark Souls fan and I made this to play the boardgame, but the game is flawed and not friendly to make homebrew content. Check out the other workshops that are avalibe that have the official addons added into them therefore. Otherwise check out Dark Souls the card game, in my oppinion better game for DS fans. :praisesun:

Kinda new to this board game, so is the additional stuff that is added user created addons or is it a mixture of both user addons and official addons / expansions? Also thanks for creating this :)

Sadly no, there is no pdf or rulebook because it is homebrew content. I tryed to balance the rules and it worked for us. You must be flexible when you play with user created content. Were can you find them?!? All waht you need is on the left side of the gameboard. It is sorted in original game and additional stuff. There is also the stamina bar. Have fun playing! :praisesun:

Where can I find the rules for the additional stamina bar and health bar? I know they're paraphrased in the notes when you load the game, but is there a pdf online with these rules?

This workshop has a lot of homebrew content from the creators listed below. In generell I would not buy the game in RL, because it is flawed in the core game. At least it was not designed for additional content and the Addons released by Steamforged games are realy bad. Sadly not the Dark Souls game a fan wished for. You want to know why, I can tell you the reasons and you can decide if you still want to spend that much money for a game you may play 2-3 times in your lifetime.:lunar2019coolpig: But this list would be to long, so lets talk about it :praisesun:

Hi, I love your work. I'm looking to buy the real board game, and i would like to know which expansion has the humanity / darksign / human effigy cards. I asked the board game company, but they don't understand my question and asks me what cards im missing. I'm looking for the expansion name. I though you might know.

About the Expanions, yes it was planned to implement them. But the Basegame is sadly flawed from the beginning and no expansion is avalible in a good quality. So I decided to not further mod Dark Souls the Board game anymore. Not enought subscribers, not enought people will play it and (this is what huts the most) it does not represent Dark Souls like it should. Nice game to play once, but has not a hight replayability. But there is hope! Check out Dark Souls the Card Game. Same Company produced it and it is great :praisesun: It plays much better as this board game. If you like board games try Kingdom Death: Monster or Gloomhaven. Thy are from the base up better games. (it hurts my feelings so hard to say that as a hardcore Dark Souls fan)

Thats right, becuase they have none. Therefore there Abilities are strong when you know how to use them. (it is normal that there are none)

Update: Not including the official Darkroot expansions, because they are not in a good enought quality avalibe so that I would include and play them. Will add them as soon as possible. Check out other Mods if you want them in low res. or bad quality.

No problem, I will tell you. But the Answer will may disappoint you.
There are ALL steam avalible expansions in my workshop. Some have not even Rulebooks and therefore are the Rules to the left Area to balance the game. All official rulebooks are on the upper Side of the Table and the rest is selfexplaining. Other additional rules have small Cards that are in the DLC Area that explain the symbols and new created attacks.
To summ up: All you need is in the workshop and the Rest is sadly common sense.
The only official Expansions are the printout cards released by Steamforge Games and the Rulebook for that is also on the table. If you need further help only ask for it, I even can make teachingrounds to teach you the game (3-6h) :praisesun:

At the momen I am realy buisy and lost a little bit the mood to mod in TTS. I had the plan to add at least 3 DLC by my self (one is nearly finished) but than Dark Souls Card Game needed some attention :praisesun:
So I can only say, YES, but not in close future. (because sadly not manny play my workshop)

That is realy interesting but also realy a common problem. Not with my Workshop, more with TTS and its uploadstategie. The picture is uploaded over a picture hosting service like imgurl and your Country/ PC/ Internetprovider/ Port on it does not allow TTS to acces the page from the game itself. To fix that problem (and I guess that is what you are interested in) I would give you the advice to load the original Wokshop I used (linked in my Workhop, created by RyWol & Benji ) and make shure that your mod Caching in options is enabled so that he can find the picture faster.
When that will not work, than try to reaload the complete workshop without mod chaching. That should fix it as long nothing else block the acces to the original uploader side. (I checked that it is still publich and can be loaded 3 min ago)

Update report:
Working atm at the last figurines (Dancer, Outrider Knight & Winged Knight) and some Game setup. After that I will make a break for 1 week while I work on my DLC and the Version 2.0.
That means scripting the game setup and huge overhaul (changing Silverknights so that they are clocer to the DS Ptd version etc.) But the basegame will always be playable! So if you have any wishes what should be implemented this week,... go for it! :praisesun:

Game is still made for only 4 players, only the options to choose are more.

Thanks for using some of my creations, anyone could digitise content like I did from the official expansions, all I did was add it to the game.
I done the add ons one rulebook not the orginal, thats definitely mine I wrote add ons on the front of it but I didnt write the rules just put them together. The figures for characters like the firekeeper and andre were made by me but I didnt do the artwork.

The only things I can take full credit for are the moveable health bars and the little tool for tracking the groups ember status, first activation and aggro for up to five players. Those I made from scratch and its nice to know I done a good enough job that other mods want them.
I made it have four states so you can track up to five players since there are only five characters, your mod has more characters, if you want I can open my files and see about making the tool track more, in case players want to play in bigger groups on your mod.

Thanks, and just so you know what parts are mine:
I used the original mod from RyWol and Benji for the base game and the boards they are being displayed on.
I created the digital versions of the official expansion such as the mimics, invaders, summon signs, the sorcerer player character, the old dragon slayer and the smelter demon, as well as the "Add ons" rule book you have being displayed upright.
The Firekeeper, Andre the Blacksmith figures and the tombstone figures were made by me.
The moveable health bars and the utility to track ember status, first activation and aggro were originally made by me.

Clarke510,... sorry but never had some of your workshops subscribed and no idea if someone of the creators I used to get the base of my workshop did not mentioned you. Would be nice if you link your original workshop here so I can proof that you are the original creator.
If thats the case than thank you for your work and I will 100% mention you and link it in my description. And when I make some "How to play" educational rounds I always tell the players to also check the original content to give everyone his honor.

When you want to keep an old game and want to keep play it in an older version there is a easy pevention: upload all loaded files into your Steam cloud (roughtly 0.9GB) than you do not lose any thing when reloading it.

Found the Source! It should only happen when you open the "old figures" sack, because in there are some figures that are not longer supported by the original mod creator.
So as long you do not open it or use the wrong figures out of that bag nothing will happen.
When you are still useing old models or use old safefiles with older figures, it will end in that error message.
Keep the workshop up to date and check what is new. (because I overhaul atm the figures it could be that you loaded a safefile with 4 exaple a silverkight and it can not load because that model not longer exist because it has a new and better model in the new version!)

Sorry to hear that, but atm I have no clue what file it is that makes you trouble. Will give my best to fix that, but I need more help to find the source of the problem. Because for the rest of the subscribers it works fine.
Here is a list for what you can do:
1.) Check if the workshop is up to date (I upload minor and major changes nearly every day)
2.) if the problem still exist also sub the linked workshops that are in the "spechial thanks area"
3.) If there is still the problem left, I need to know if you still be able to load my workshop or if it kicks you out as soon as you start?!? (So I can find the source)

Because normally I did not uploaded anything into a dropbox :steammocking:and never faced that problem jet.

there is a problem with the dropbox images due to changes in the Dropbox policies :

"Important changes to the Dropbox public folder
Dropbox accounts created after October 4, 2012 won't have a Public folder. If you'd like to quickly share files you can use a shared link. Shared links work even if the person you're sharing with doesn't have a Dropbox account.
Dropbox Basic (free) users
As of March 15, 2017 the Public folder in your Dropbox account has been converted into a standard folder. By default this folder is private to your account. This transition will occur automatically.
Here's what you need to know:
If someone visits a link to a file in your Public folder, they'll see an error page …"

that's why the direct links of dropbox isn't working anymore ..

Thanks that you take it so cool, maybe you know how hard it is to find good content and it was never my intention to rib somone else of there work. I only want to help others to download the game and play it directly. And with that I mean that it should work all as intended. When that is done I can focus on my own creativity and add my own content. Atm I rework all figures (got in contact with ItchyDani3l) to make them all the same and in good quality. After that is done my first DLC is waiting already, needs only some polishment and it can be released.
