It worked when I completely exited TTS and reloaded Kharkov. Thanks.

Hey jhertz01,
All I did was take the units out of the 'bags', turn them over and put them back in! Then you can use R to randomize them...hope that helps.:lunar2020thinkingtiger:

Hate to be obtuse, but how do I update the Kharkov mod I already subscribe to you just updated? Do I need to unsubscribe and then resubscribe? The reason I'm asking is because I tried exiting and restarting Kharkov, but the untried units still flip over to their strength side whenever I take one off the stack.

Hi @jhertz01,
I just updated the mod with the untried units turned upside down in the 'bags'...sorry for the trouble!:cozyspaceengineersc:

Hi @jhertz01, this discussion may help? M:1775crossswords:

Hey MrUnimport,
They come out just as you put them in...so turn 'em upside down and put 'em back in! I placed them right-side up to verify the counter mix

MrUnimport Mar 23, 2019 @ 1:23am
Is there some way to make the Russian untried units come out of the box upside-down?
jhertz01 Jun 13, 2020 @ 3:53pm
Mark or anyone,

In the SPI Kharkov game, there are stacked untried Soviet units on the right edge of the map. How do I take only ONE of the units without it automatically flipping over to reveal its strength? I am trying to set-up a game by placing the untried units on the map where they should remain untried until committed to combat. This is quite frustrating.

Thanks,,

Hi dinkydoo,
Thanks, I'll see if I can get the graphics for the Victory Games mentioned. Uploading them is another story...time constraints, etc. I likewise think TTS's 'nearly virtual game table' idea is superior to Vassal's old style, it 'feels' more natural to pick up & push around the game pieces.:lunar2020thinkingtiger:

WOW! Cool collection! any plans on adding some Victory Games(The Civil War and The Korean War)? I'm starting to like TTS more than Vassal, to a sense.

Yes I just check... sorry I missed that! Thank you!

Hi Epcdaddy,
Yup, it's in there too!:cozyspaceengineersc:
Epcdaddy Apr 12, 2020 @ 5:08am
I am also wondering if you may have Gondor or Sauron as part of the Game of the Middle Earth Trilogy? Thanks!
Epcdaddy Apr 12, 2020 @ 5:06am
Just want to say thank you on the great collection!

Thanks for your collection.

Hey Alsatorx,
Yeah, I have the whole GBOTCW series including Pea Ridge. I'll add it to my to-do list. I plan (should I live so long!) to try to do them all, with Terrible Swift Sword and Bloody April as well!
Until then, I uploaded Stonewall (Kernstown)...:1775crossswords:

Hi Mark, I totally understand, Being a gamer from the early days of AH and then SPI opened up the hobby of wargames for me a long time ago. Not sure if possible, I would like to see Eric L. Smith's Pea Ridge that I had the pleasure of play testing in 1980 added.

Hi Alsatorx,
Thanks for the comment, just trying to recapture some of my youth before it slips away.:cozyspaceengineersc:

Thank you. These are great, now I can replay games I once owned and are now in some cases too costly to add back to my wargame library. Well done.

Thank you !!!

Hi bhoritz, thanks for the comment. I really enjoy keeping these games alive...a little bit of nearly forgotten gaming history revived.:toughness:

Hi, MadMark56, I the Prestags serie have been the beginning of my wargaming madness. I simply loved the "generic" capacity to play lots of battles using a single system.
I discovered Musket & Pike and Rifle & Saber later. I think that there is a Grenadier game taking place between those too.
And for later period a 20th century game (Tanks?) using the same generic philosophy.
I had not seen those games since years (ok, decades) but it gives me a itch to begin again.
Thanks...

Hey paulyd83,
'WolfPack'...made for solitaire, also 'Rescue from the Hive' has solitaire rules included.:dicemiss:
paulyd83 May 23, 2019 @ 8:15pm
Question: are any of these mods of yours purely solitaire?
MadMark56  [author] Sep 6, 2018 @ 3:55pm
Hey libdab,
Thanks for the congrats... I do have BftA(4games), and Atlantic Wall(monster game), don't have Highway, or Bloody April(TSS). I do have all the GBAC(8) one already up, Stonewall. I was a student of WWII when younger...less so now. I can see myself doing the quadrigame, but that beast Atlantic Wall dwarfs my largest, Wellingtons Victory! I'll keep you posted...:greatwarstar:

Hi, MadMark56. Firstly, thanks for all of your hard work creating these nostalgia-inducing mods - much appreciated by those of discerning taste :steamhappy:

I read on one of the mod pages that you have over 200 of these games - kudos. I don't suppose you have any of the following SPI games that I have fond memories of playing back in the late 70s and early 80s: Battles for the Ardennes (4-game collection); Highway to the Reich (Market Garden); Atlantic Wall (Overlord). Or how about Bloody April (Shiloh), which I own but never got to play?

Cheers ...
