can you tell me how to re-create this through changing the game code?

Yeah your mod breaks 95% of the workshop script mods, so just to let you know.

After talking to the person who made the "improved Mutations" mod, I think you need to update this.

If the player dies or is injured during domination will it still break the domination link?

Hey weird bug, but starting a game with a new character that has the domination mutation gives me a whole bunch of "Dominate someone" abilities instead of just one when I press a. Could you look into that?

oh, I see the purpose, my bad
Hatti Jun 9, 2018 @ 11:31pm
can you make it work normally up to level 10, then start to be infinite?

Beguile doesn't allow you to control the NPC you desire. @Bobondacob Beguile only turns an NPC Friendly, it doesn't quite literally put it under your control , effectively only adding an ally rather than a party member of your own.

There might be more, but that's what I'm aware of off the top of my head.
Bobondacob Jun 9, 2018 @ 4:40pm
can't you just use beguile?

@June Thanks! I figured that out on a bit of the later side and decided that I'd go for a themed addition-focused mod instead.

While a mass majority of it is easy, coming up with the ideas to make it meld in well is rather time consuming. But modding this game so far as been pretty fun! Of course, the lingering doomsday known as friday always is a scary thought. :chocola:

Thank you for modding this wonderful game.

"I'll have some more serious altering/changing/addiing mods out soon enough."

I think you should focus on the "adding" part , because if you do mods that alter/change things already in the game it would mess more with compatibility with each new version of the game and with other mods.

Anyway, i wish you have fun creating content for CoC :) Live and drink friend.

I may actually be able to fix the domination issue. This is likely since they overwrite one another and load orders currently don't exist (to my knowledge) in CoQ. Meaning that if mine is loaded after?

Simply put, it probably overwrites it rather than changing/merging. It loads in Alphabetical Order to be precise.

So I'll see what I can do about that. It shouldn't be too hard for the most part since I've covered more ground with actual scripting now rather than minor variable changes.

hunger and thirst can easily be solve if you gave them wayfarer skill(or something) it will give them ability to make camp. additionaly, if you also give them tactic, they will obtain sprint, so they are almost another player character you can switch to with domination.

The only issue i have with this mod is that it is not compitable with Mutation Adjusted mod, which allow you to beguile or dominate creature with range so long if you have telepathy mutation.

If you have both mod, Mutation Adjusted mod will not work.

I wish i can dominate and play as Amus Saad, with my original character work as recoiler.

They can eat and drink fresh water like the player can though it can be a problem if you don't give them any and they can't do stuff like make camp. Also they don't teleport next to you if they die, only if domination ends with the dominated ally still alive.
Moon Fairy Kyra  [author] May 8, 2018 @ 5:21am
Huh, that's interesting. I wonder if they're hunger and thirst is satiable in their dominated form.

So that means making them friendly then dominating them then ending domination is literally just an instant-safety kind of thing. What about if they die? Does the corpse teleport next to you? :vanilla:
Guy Duderson May 8, 2018 @ 3:22am
Okay, so a couple of things I'm noticing is that if your dominated creature is friendly like through beguile they teleport to be next to you when domination ends not already nearby you basically regardless of distance, and being in a dominated creature long enough will cause them to thirst/get hungry when they otherwise wouldn't as an NPC.

Looks interesting for experimentation. Gonna subscribe and see what happens if I leave my actual body somewhere safe like Joppa and see how far away I can get in a dominated body with this duration increase and what happens if I do that.
