@Encoded29: hopefully not. MEIOU uses lots of complex mechanics and variables that are to be recalculated very often. I am keeping it simpler, but I felt that the new mechanics were required to achieve game balancing.
I am hoping for a release this week-end, possibly with some dynamic province names.
I am working on the update with quite a few new functionalities to help balancing the game :
- Communication Speed system (inspired by MEIOU)
- Representation of basic food for each province (rice in Yangzi river area for instance) with unique province modifiers
- New trade goods (and deletion of grain as a consequence of above point)
- New buildings
- Dynamic province names are also about to return, but I can't garantee it to be in next update (I would appreciate any help with Danish, Russian, Serb, Arab, Iranian languages)
Any idea to better balance the mod from you would also be valuable
The game currently run at 1.27.2 and even if i change the number version of the mod that i can find in the "MOD file" in the folder "mod" in Documents/Paradox Interactive from 1.28 to 1.27.2 the game crash.
I was doing a campain online on youtube but actually now i don't really know how to solve the problem: even if the game and the mods are updated at the same writing in all 1.27 I have crashes.
Is possible to be contacted by the author of the mod and have an old version of the mod made for the EU4 1.27.2.0?
For the addition of new provinces, I'm open to any detailed proposal, but it will have to be convincing : for instance, Crimea had a very low population density, and its province alreday have 0 to 4 dev. So I don't seeany good reasonsto add new provinces there.
Im here, but gderoull has been inactive in communication the lastest months, so I got no idea how the next version will be
Speaking personally I haven't had any performance issues, it runs quite well, and I think there'd still be some good more room for more provinces. Like I said before, the Americas, Ireland and Crimea are the places I think could use more work.
Also quite like the navigable rivers, will there be any more added? Perhaps the Amazon River? Congo River? Nile Delta?

It was the only way to allow most countries to run a modest profit at the beginning of the game. Haven't had a full run through yet so I don't know how it affects the late game but at least it prevents early game bankruptcies
Fak-Fak, papua new Guinea, is a ghost province
1799 and 1173 are wasteland but are a part of areas next to them
3619, 4258 are inland provinces than can produce boat (who can't go out)
3824, 3827 and 4271 are coastal provinces that can produce boats, but those can't get in or out of it
The polish river isn't connected to sea and the province bordering it have no ports
A lot of big river could be navigable (Rhine, Congo, Niger, Indus ...)
Benin area should go in Sahel and Ijaw area in Guinea

now I didn't make a zip file out of it again but just put the uncompressed folder in and that seems to have done the trick
I can start the game with the mod, but when I am ingame the mod is missing
I also don't know how to edit habdev.mod so i could change launcher title
1) I download patch version
2) I unpack patch version
3) I repack hab from patch version into hab.zip
4) I delete old hab.zip and hab.mod
5) I copy new hab.zip and habdev.mod into EUIV mod folder
result: the mod doesn't work
do I need to unsub from the steam version first or something?
