Nice idea but it ended abruptly. You need to add the Fade Out effect to make softer. Considering it already 12 years old, you prolly won't fix it.

didn't work for me at first but after alerting a horde via car alarm it seems to work now most of the time.

Btw, its crazy how creepy Hard Rain ch.5 turns with this addon.

it sucks that l4d2 hardcoded the incoming sound duration, modders can do longer sounds with variable sound durations.
this does the job done though, it's nice, it's creepy and it's alarming.

i vote also for speeding up a bit the sound, so it can loop 3 times and fade away.

Actually what you could do, if the reason people want it longer is so it smoothly fades out instead of cutting, is just verrrry slightly speed it up to fit it.

Alternatively, you could add an echoed fade manually with some editing. Either way not having a cut out would be lovely.

For everybody asking for a longer version, It is literally impossible for him to make it longer. The horde alert sound is hard coded to only last a few seconds, there would be no practical way to make the sound longer like in silent hill.

Please update this to make it longer, have it loop 2 or 3 times. I've never heard a tornado siren only go off once, or even in the movies, when it goes off, it goes off at least 3 times.

This needs to be longer and with a fade-out at the end. The horror effect is great but doesn't carry much weight because of the abrupt stop at the end.

1. Is there any chance to make it longer the same length as when the horde are done? If so, please make it longer.
2. Is this apply to every sound call aside from shooting a car? As you know the horde will come with one of the following:
1. When spit by Boomer
2. When press something to activate
3. Incoming attack randomly
4. Rescue (longest time of music need)
5. Shooting a car
I want to clarity it in details so I can subscribe it.
