After following the installation of Sinfarxee into the steam installation the i get into an eternal loop of not having the latest sinfarx, over do you want to update to update failed... wich i can only stop with taskmanager. And i still wonder how i can access my old gamespy based account on Sinfar..

not work for me. I subscribe this hak, steam download it, I can join the server whit downgrade option (win32_8181) but I can't see any changes, When i try to modifay somthing in the body, the body disappear and i can see only a floating head

If someone can help me that would be great. I downloaded this and followed the steps for doing the EE but i am not getting anywhere. I ran the game on oldstable but can't join any servers that way. I made a copy of nvn folder and put it on my desktop and named it after Sinfar. I don't know what I'm doing wrong

Mostly it has to do with that there's an additional 'client extended' to DL I think and unzip or whatever.

Yeah it's a common situation, there's a lot that are in other dl's that do work on the forum list. rather than here.

Well i downloaded it as it says, following the directions and all and i'm still running into problems with accessories. I've even tried on my GoG NWN diamond.

I follow the instructions to the T, But i have no idea what i'm missing in the process.

Take thief mask for example, it's just a white face mask, or the predator looking mask? Just white etc. I'm not really sure what is going on here as i'm installing sinfarX/haks here.

For some reason, it seems that the accessories for items come up untextured/not properly placed where they should be.

Am i missing something, or is the mod missing some textures or so?

There was an update to the plugin which should fix your missing tlk error.

Alternatively you can download the haks / tlk manually and put them in your "C:\Users\username\Documents\Neverwinter Nights" folder, more info here: https://sinfar.net/using_nwn_ee

It let me get inside and my chars are there! * _ * it tells me there is a missing tlk when choosing a character maybe i have to download some content from the web or redownload the mod from this workshop again after changing to oldstable?

When i try to follow the instructions, it tells me to download sinfar exe put it in the same folder as the game exe nwmain, and click it to launch and update, but when it tells me to update a message goes up saying:" error: the download of nwncx_sinfar.dll has failed, and then another message goes ( translated from spanish):" mwmain.exe - incorrect image- SteamLibrary\...\bin\win32\nwneecx_sinfar.dll is not designed to be executed in windows or it contains an error. try to install again, or contact the admin of the sistem or owner of the software for help, error state 0x0000020

Hello, I have EE modded with the 1.72 patch. Is Sinfar not compatible with this community update? I keep trying to connect and get the error: "Client and server versions do not match."

@Tigerwalker you are missing the override files (http://sinfar.net/haks/override.7z) . You need to have those 3 .tga files in your "Documents\Neverwinter Nights\override" folder

@Henson Shadow: Yes, those haks will only be loaded when you play on Sinfar, you don't have to do anything.

I really don't know why it says that you are missing a file after installing this workshop, everything seems fine on my end. There's always the solution of manually downloading the haks, they are available here: http://sinfar.net/haks

I decided to sub to the hak and try out Sinfar as someone I knew finally answered about my below question. However I also had the same missing file issue as jdawg25z down there. For all I know the subscribing probably didn't put it in the right place but I won't pretend to understand how it all works.

If I use this hak pak, would I be able to switch to play on other servers or would I have to do some sort of disabling/enabling when I was to play on a server this day or that day? I haven't really found an answer and I'd like to know what I'm getting into before I decide to join up on a server that requires a pack such as Sinfar (which I am interested in). Thank you in advance for your help.
