Instead of disabling it entirely for Multiplayer or Iron Man: Why not simply disable the specific things which you consider cheating? in the comments you explained the mod itself isnt cheating but being able to see other people's empires in your mod, so why not stop being able to see other people's empires when in a multiplayer match?

@ 8igualdos0s It's not cheating to use this in multiplayer. Seriously, just disable the option for other empires then. Allow the user to decide what they want to use it for.

Ah, I didn't realise that, I see. Okay, fair enough then, that is certainly cheating.

No excuses needed, @Jiggles. Problem is that you could enable some options in the app to see this whole information for every empire in the galaxy. You would get advantages that your enemies wouldn't, human or AI. In any case, information is power. That wouldn't be fair when you are playing MP or IM

Excuse my ignorance, but after watching the video I'm not really sure how this is cheating, isn't it just a ledger to help keep track of various aspects of the galaxy?

@Jiggles, For the time being, no. Neither me or blubblubblob want to support cheating strategies. This is only for personal use. Sorry.

Is there any chance a version could be released that functions in Multiplayer? I only play with my friends, who would either have the mod as well, or not care that we have it.
It's not as if Stellaris is competitive anyway.

Yes, you need phyton istallation for dashboard app and mod installation (or suscription) for in-game visualisation. You also need run this dashboard app when you are playing the game. I think I am going to do a proper tutorial here, but I am waiting because blubblubblob is still making some changes. You can also take a look at the README ( github files) . Yes, there is a way and I would also love to have that ck2-like ledger option.Something like:

"2216.01.01-2226.01.01: Ruled United Nations of Earth from Earth."
"2224.10.13: Negotiated peace in the Human - Blorg War."
"2226.01.12: Led the planet invasion of Sol III"

etc.

blubblubblob could make that and more, but he is really busy these days. Maybe if this mod gets bigger and more popular...and he realize how much we like it... ;)

Is there a way to do a version with basic text with fillin of war start and finish. So you can see a history of your empire through the years at war. Empire fought x empire from 2234 to 2255 ..
