Can I change the opacity? I can barely read text when it's colored red

That opaque effect works wonderfully with the smaller much more satisfying UI genius!

This mod is the best UI there is out there, minimalism, less is more 100% recommend

Good time of day. In the game, the characters talk a lot. Sometimes interesting dialogues develop and you don't always have time to read them. Well, go to the "Dialogues" tab. Is it possible to make a separate remote window with dialogs.?

Comments about how crudely made Kenshi is really annoy me. When a single person can create such a masterpiece he deserves respect not snide remarks. How many blockbuster games have you created in your home office lately?

Crudely made indeed, now I know why I get such a strong Win 2000 vibe from the base game.

Its technically possible but only in a very manual way, purposefully making a smaller version of this UI while scaling down text size with it, but the buttons would stay the same size. This game doesnt scale the UI with resolutions, the UI itself is just a static PNG file with clickable areas on screen.

Is it not possible to make a smaller ui like how some games scale the ui tiny if you increase the resolution in game?

It felt like Morrowind without moveable menus before but now...

Anyone know of a mod that improve the squad management window?

The best UI mod for Kenshi out of all the ones I've tested so far. Recommended for people with limited screen real estate, i.e. laptops etc. Some of the text is a bit hard to make out depending on what colours are in the background, but the positives of this mod far outweigh that. For some reason Kenshi runs smoother with this UI mod installed, but it could as well just be in my mind... :)

The mod is good, but I think there some color fonts that make it really hard to read ie. color fonts in faction menu (Upcoming events) or color fonts in grade weapon especially old refitted blade grade

I didn't wanted them to be more transparent... what i wanted was "empty" places to get foreground back, but transparent like in options or inventory box.
Never mind thou...i decided i wont bother neither You or DarkUI creator, as gui is easy to make and edit and i had much experiance with fonline 2 UI i already made my own ver. based upon Vanilla. When i test it properly i might upload as another flavour. Regards!

You see, can make all the foreground boxes transparent. All the windows are transparent at different levels, but If I lower them, the text would be tough to see in some parts of the game.

Coult you make it just trasparent, but keep some background...like on the inventory screen?

To anyone who looks at this mod, I am only updating it when commented to fix something or if the game update breaks it. Don't have the necessary time to mess with it, as I feel I've done all I could in terms of the goal for the User Interface, which was to cut down everything to the bare minimum without removing everything.

The buttons were actually still just the vanilla ones, is what I mean, but I'm glad you mentioned them cause I think they look a bit better now.

@Cloak Heheh, I actually had updated it. Not the buttons look more "Off" and there's a small light that indicates it. :P

@Trist Scratch what I said about it being hard to see the toggles, its prefect the whole thing. For some reason Kenshi turned off all my mods. I had one of my dork moments >_>

Thanks! I definitely tried to save my own eyesight with it, heh. Tried keeping it vanilla colored yet still prominent enough to easily see. I can definitely change the buttons, good idea! Thanks for the vote of confidence and the suggestion!

Changed the text colors to look better, and made menu boxes cleaner and MUCH darker, considering the main gray text can't be changed.

Not easy to read selections in the Research menu.
