HappyRage Oct 22, 2016 @ 9:17pm

homeytk2000 Jan 6, 2016 @ 3:30pm
What am I missing? I do not see where or how to smelt these things
karlkrag Jul 28, 2015 @ 1:54pm
Looks nice. I am running with a mod that requires Blacksmith tools to use the forge.
Would you be able to add "Cast Iron" tools as a creation?
Was thinking of Clay as the form:
Clay + "Pots and kettle" or Iron ingot -> Hammer
Clay + "Pots and kettle" or Iron ingot -> Tongs
Thanks

maxdino Feb 19, 2015 @ 9:25pm

Kailyn Apr 18, 2013 @ 8:17am
I like glass bottles to glass rather than glass ingots - it would help with Hearthfires
Fairlane Fox Apr 2, 2013 @ 11:56am

aloocifer Mar 25, 2013 @ 1:11pm
a bunch of empty bottles should yield glass ingots
Mysteri  [author] Mar 24, 2013 @ 8:25am
I get what your saying, ill work on that, im going to fix the plates too. they're a little op
Fairlane Fox Mar 23, 2013 @ 11:58pm
halfing output would limit the mod from being too... op. so i run out of iron if i decide to spam iron daggers for the skill, then re smelt them and do it again..
Fairlane Fox Mar 23, 2013 @ 11:56pm
like i say, smelting weapons and stuff... if it happens, to half the output. so...1 iron ingot = 2 iron daggers, and i would say the same for armor, sheilds, same thing, but also add charcoal...

also... should add lanterns to the pots and pans = iron as well.. :P i'd say... 2-3 could possibly make an ingot... refferencing the size of the ingot to the lantern and judging how much iron is possibly used to make a lantern..
Genesis Mar 23, 2013 @ 5:18pm
1k Gold would be better.
JallBuggler Mar 23, 2013 @ 12:21pm
MOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, Just joking it should be less make them work for their gold ;D
Dragonbane11 Mar 23, 2013 @ 6:16am
it would make you a bit op though
RaZoR Mar 22, 2013 @ 5:04pm
Yeah being able to melt down unwanted armor & weapons would be great!
Amonza Mar 22, 2013 @ 2:50pm
should be like 200 gold
=AC3=Lhotse5 Mar 22, 2013 @ 2:23pm
Wow... if someone could create a mod for melting everything down(unwanted armor & weapons etc.) into the raw materiel, that would be great.
Nemo Mar 20, 2013 @ 5:11pm
Val's Crafting Meltdown does this job, and on weapons/armor too. However, it hasn't been updated in ages. If you want to continue, I suggest checking that out and copying it's good parts then improving upon it.

Good luck!
Dark Strider Mar 20, 2013 @ 2:56pm
Make it so weapons can be melted down into base elements. Iron sword to iron ingots ect.
Fairlane Fox Mar 20, 2013 @ 1:54pm
odd, cause in the nightmare quest line for dawnstar, in that fort, theres a square chunk laying on the floor. :v not sure if it was just called "coal" or if it was charcoal, its after the library.. just before you get into the "lab" ish room with the potion and all the ingredients, and i dont have any mods that add charcoal like that, or mess with dawnstar or that quest specifically.
Mysteri  [author] Mar 20, 2013 @ 1:29pm
The little sticks, they're the only one's that are used in the game and other mods.
Fairlane Fox Mar 20, 2013 @ 1:24pm
i have to ask, what kind of charcoal? the lil sticks? or the peices that look like they would be for putting in a grill?
Mysteri  [author] Mar 20, 2013 @ 12:51pm
Changed the name because everything isnt going to be changed into ingots now.
Mysteri  [author] Mar 20, 2013 @ 12:46pm
ill add dwarven clutter soon. :)
Mysteri  [author] Mar 20, 2013 @ 12:46pm
Guys those dwarven scraps are alreadys able to be smelt down in vanilla
Dragonbane11 Mar 20, 2013 @ 12:31pm
make some for dwarven clutter (gyros and plater etc.) and ill subscribe
Fairlane Fox Mar 20, 2013 @ 12:23pm
oh... glazed being the blue plates and stuff? eeeh... i cant really see them being iron, more or less clay, ceramc or porceline or something. not iron. i could see Tankards, forks and knives, lanterns, broken weapon fragments, as being meltable for iron..
Fairlane Fox Mar 20, 2013 @ 12:21pm
i never heard of "Glazed" clutter...

i do agree though the REST of the dwarven metal scraps should me added, the cups, bowls, strusts and things... you can melt down some of the dwarven scrap but not alot of it

only thing i could think of as further suggestions..

being able to decraft leather armors and sheilds. an example, say a leather armor costs 4 leather to make, but if you decraft it, you only get 1-2 leathers back. (thinking in the way you might have to "cut-to-fit" some sheets of leather.

and i'd also like to suggest, IF this mod starts doing weapons (to keep things not as broken) it should only give half back of the cost, and charcoal, from sheilds with wood and handles from swords. i say half cause whats stopping me from making 50 iron daggers, smelting them back down, and making 50 daggers again for xp farming? why i say it should be halfed, or atleast for 1 ingot recipe items, or 2-3 of that item needed to make an ingot.
Mittens Mar 20, 2013 @ 11:07am
My reccomendation to this would be to add a recipy to get gold ingots from say... 800 gold coins, aslo to add in Dwarven scraps to get dwarven metals. But "Do Not" make anything that gives steel as that needs to be combined from multiple resources and cant simply be broken down.

For those who are new to smithing you require 1 Corondum ore and 1 Iron ore to synthesize steel. It is "NOT" a natural metal.
Dru Mar 20, 2013 @ 10:50am
epic one of a kinde items smelted into new kinde of ingot 4 new kinde of ingot in smithing place = EPIC ONE OF I KINDE EPIC SWORD/BOW/DAGGER OF EPICNESS!
Mr. Fibble Mar 20, 2013 @ 6:06am
Dwarven metal would be the thing to promote this mod more than common iron or silver.
Shadow86 Mar 20, 2013 @ 4:01am
something really nice whould be to melt armor and weponds you don't need in ingots at the forge :)
DEATHLORD58 Mar 20, 2013 @ 2:11am
COULD USE EBONY INGOTS,
Bednasty Mar 19, 2013 @ 12:33pm
wish that you could make like gold and diamond chests and cups and melt them back down
The Merlin Mar 19, 2013 @ 8:42am
This mod needs dwarven/dwemer clutter -> dwarven metal
[FX] Lord Humungus Mar 19, 2013 @ 7:30am
Gold ingots please, its the best piece i need in the game for my merchant stand.
I make stuff out of gold and flawless gems and sell them, its something i like.
If you can Add Gold ingots.
Gladius Mar 19, 2013 @ 1:20am
damn could you make something like stashing gold ingots so i can make my dream come true to stash alot of gold ingot and other precious gems in a secret place ?? @.@
Mysteri  [author] Mar 18, 2013 @ 1:17pm
@wafflemen221 if i could figure out how to add subunits in the smelting ui i would but everything seems to go to misc. i would like to figure out how to add my own tab though.
Waffleman211 Mar 18, 2013 @ 1:14pm
You should be able to smelt armor and wepons back to leather and metal. And also if you combine like silver and steel you should get quick silver or something.
Mysteri  [author] Mar 18, 2013 @ 1:00pm
@icymetal005 ill do that as soon as possible
Rated R Mar 17, 2013 @ 8:34pm
there's mods in the workshop that you can smelt iron pots into iron ingots really anything that has the word iron should be able to smelt into iron ingots and maybe have the forks can smelt into iron ingots the wood plates maybe turn that into charcoal and turn charcoal with iron makes steel ingots. there's some mods out there that has that already but not all in one mod..
Cosmic Armor Pizza Boy Mar 17, 2013 @ 1:10pm
I've seen a lot of mods that add silverware smelting but none have I seen that add smelting for iron. This will make a theif character more viable. So many plates and dishes to steal but none of them were worth anything. And what am I going to do? Decorate my home with clutter? Now you can steal, smelt, craft, and then sell. It's perfect! >:D
Retvik Mar 17, 2013 @ 8:08am
Very nice! With so many cups and bowls around, I never need to go mining again!
Jacurutu Mar 16, 2013 @ 6:21pm
this is a pretty good idea.
Optimus Past His Prime Mar 16, 2013 @ 5:15pm
