That's because this ONLY works with Afterbirth+

I actually in love with this mod, I’ve been having a lot of fun with it, thanks for making it! I love both DDLC and Isaac so it’s perfect!

The mod is currently getting a complete overhaul. And this version will rollback and remain the Afterbirth+ version.

The new Repentance overhaul will be separate on it's own page

Custom characters don't have completion marks by default. There is however a mod which enables it.

As for character/item being unlockable. I've not looked into how that's possible.

Is this mod currently unavailable? The hair of the characters disappeared and the exclusive items also disappeared... Monica can't even start the game.
