I really adore this mod, I like all my mods but this one is my favorite-- thank you for it :cleanseal:

if I wanted to make a patch for dra'ak/ dark hive how would I go about doing that? Radiant hivers seem to drop normal hiver legs I noticed-- I'm thinking it might be easier to just make dra'ak drop normal shek limbs and dark hive drop normal hiver limbs than it would be to introduce a bunch of new soy types

Hi HeroinAction, thanks for your reply. Indeed, the doorway being blocked was solved by using ctrl+shift+F11, luckily. I also noticed you can still place new bodies in the machine, but it does build up. I still think this machine works better than the separate peeler mod.

I'm also not sure if the issue with the bodies becoming fixed objects is a problem of the mod, or simply a problem of how the game works. I think the creator of the game should also keep in mind that modding is a big part of this game, and they could make changes to allow for things like the peeler to work better. Anyway, I hope you manage to find out what's causing this. Thanks for this fun mod, despite this issue it's fun to be able to feed my crew Soylent :)

just made a clean test - yes the body cant be removed anymore. it drops in the machine-model and while it can be looted, the r-click menu only works for the machine. That seems to have changed. At least you can put a new body in and usually bodies used to despawn after a while, but i can see that that is annoying. Especially since, due to another bug, the bodies are dropped from the machine during loading. :cosmoglitch:

The other two things i could not find with some testing - the collision sizes stay small for me and all machines stayed visible. Likely this is a general kenshi problem or with another mod.

Alright, so it seems that when the body is left in the bean processor until it's finished, it bugs out and the body gets stuck in the machine. It cannot be removed anymore. I have tried to dismantle the machine but the body just floats there and cannot be removed anymore. There are a few more issues, maybe the latest version of Kenshi broke something? Also one time when adding limbs into the soylent machines, all of a sudden everything disappeared. And since I installed the machines from this mod, I cannot enter my house anymore. These seems to be an invisible wall in my doorway.

It's been a while and i'm not sure about prices, but: there were 2 types of crafting (independent of what kind of building your using its a building functionality) - one is refining eg. stones to building material and one is crafting with the menu eg. for weapons

do you know if its possible for a building function of cage (like your bean mixer) to accept a different game item in, and to give a different game item out?

(ive been having ideas for a small mod, and another modder is helping me with more info but then i had an idea maybe using cages can work better?)

hi can i check which category the Protein extractors appear in please?

i managed to build one earlier in my game, but have added a lot of mods too and can not seem to find it in the Build mode screen :)

it's basically a skin peeler, so the body stays in till you set it free (or i think move away far enough for it to despawn) :evilhero:

So you can't make a recipe that 0.2 soylent foodcube + 0.8 food cube = 1 food cube?

I would assume because there already is a recipe for food cubes?

heh, decent ideas, but the modding is limited in a lot of ways. New functionalities like diseases cant be implemented and every items has to have one specific recipe - thats the actual reason why there are "soy" clones of the recipes and different machines for different limbs

So, uh... Morbid idea if you still make this mod... Make a normal cooking recipe at the normal cooking stove to mix Soylent food cubes and normal food cubes. Say, maybe, 0.2 soylent food cube and 0.8 normal food cube makes a normal food cube. That way, 5 food cubes are made out of 1 soylent and 4 normal. And nobody ever found out otherwise. (Primarily so that you can use the soylent food cubes in recipes that require normal food cubes.)

Short of a mechanic for disease and making it so Soylent foods can give you Kuru or other diseases that the human meat might have had before, I don't see a reason all the Soylent foods can't be hidden in standard foods so they function in cooking further refined products.

i know, unfortunately i cant do anything about it (sometimes it works, sometimes not) its apparently because its not only an educt for the cooker but also a direct food item

My guys seem to have an issue moving soylent green around. They won't put it into the storage, just keep it in their inventory. Also they won't cook with it, even when I move the soylent from the storage to their inventory. I have to manually place it in the cooker before they will start cooking.

rA protein extractors for all races don't appear as an option.

Other than that, I love this! I like to keep high tier enemies as trophy prisoners, and Soylent is the perfect thing to feed them.

nope, i looked into it and the furnace for the limbs initially, but the dev kit can only use existing functions and there is no vanilla meat grinder :sadpug:

can you turn the corpes burner building into a SG converter add dead body get SG?? or could you make biofuel from dead bodies? how hard would it be to add dead body as game item then use body to make biofuel then use biofuel to make protien paste guess that would be a hold new mod
