works like a charm but the 3rd digits are always offset from the first two in the count.
ive adjusted both the offset of the 3rd number and the first two in hud offset. Best i can get is the third number a little up and to the right of the first two numbers.
Never exactly right. Is there a fix for this?

that bug was fixed years ago, i know steam can take a while to download updates for mods but never thought it would be that bad, try unsubscribing from the mod, running the game (at least to the menu) checking your mods folder to see if it's still there, delete it if it is, then close the game and resubscribe

hello, I have a problem with the mod, it doesn't work and also doesn't work in mod config menu and also console command doesn't work.
It shows in console : main.lua: 808: attempt to index a nil value (global 'ModconfigMenuOptionType')

Ah, fair enough then, yeah even if it's just 20 or something at least it'll stop for example an item that drops all your bombs from just dropping 1 when I have like 19 or 101. Plus I'd be fine with some other items giving me less (like a dollar) if it made more items no longer useless.

sure I can add a setting or two, though it wouldn't show 99+, the reason it works the way it does is because in order for the API to detect an increase in pickups you have to have room for said pickups, e.g. if the mod set you at 90 coins + whatever and you found 'a quarter' the mod would only detect an increase of 9 coins, not 25

I'd like for a setting to display and count pickups like money is in the shop at all times (except maybe just let it go up to 99 before +x) as some mods (and even a couple of vanilla items) add rooms or beggars or cards or items that interact with your consumables based on their values, and having them read as 1 or 2 or etc when they're much higher screws with them. I think that any value over 99 reading as 99 to those items would generally be fine for balance reasons anyway.

There's a bug where the arcade machines that require more than one penny (from other mods) arent working. I wonder if the Repentogon release can help with this issue?

For those saying money = power isn't working it works fine for me up to 999 coins. If you went into the main.lua file and turned "local coincountupdated = false" to true that is what broke it because the lua file has it's own code for money = power that needs that line to be false.

Can you put in a function where if you're at the limit you set in the mod config menu you instead push the items around like when you're at full hearts?
Or make it a separate mod because I just want a mod where I don't waste coins when I'm already at 99 but this one feels like a slight bit too cheaty

Doesn't work with money=power to me. Basically only gives damage every 10 coins, because then the 1st number changes and the game considers I got a coin i think.

From what I can tell, this mod is not allowing The Keeper to heal from picked up coins in a shop. The health and counter try to count up at the same time and then they both cancel out or something? Basically, the coins are useless in shops now for Keeper, not sure about Tainted Keeper because I haven't unlocked him yet.

it also gets the hud offset from the config menu automatically so that might be it, if you're using the config menu try going into 'general' settings and updating it there

the hudoffset command doesn't seem to work. after using the command, the hud will jump back to where it was before as soon as I close the console.

is there a way to fix how this mod interacts with Money=Power? when i have the item my attack stat is constantly jumping between different levels, and not just changing when i pick up more coins/spend coins
sorry if that doesn't make sense i'm struggling to describe what's happening in-game

with deep pockets, that might mean that 2 of diamonds and money = power might have compatibility, before they used to do the 2 places on the left which would always be 0x, that would be sweet

so it turns out that deep pockets now allows you to carry 999 coins. do you think this mod will be able to configure deep pockets capacity at some point in the future?

well it's actually less work for the other mods to check for no pickup cap, then it is for no pickup cap to check for their item effects, reverse them and then apply replacement effects

hopefully repentance API will allow me to modify the getnumcoins/getnumkeys/etc functions so other mods won't even have to check for this
