@Xalor, thanks, works for 1600x900 aswell.
davidsen324 Oct 16, 2020 @ 4:06am
how do you do that Xalor?
Xalor Aug 19, 2020 @ 10:15am
I've found fix for 1366x768 resolution, find:

#######################################################
# TRADITION TAB
#######################################################

containerWindowType = {
name = "traditions_window"
size = { width = 1283 height = 1450 }
moveable = no
orientation = upper_left
position = { x = 0 y = 0 }

Change line 446
"size = { width = 1283 height = 1450 }"
to
"size = { width = 1283 height = 1635 }"

It should be fine, but thanks for the note. I'll get to fixing that note.
bascott83 Aug 16, 2020 @ 2:45pm
the paradox game launcher say this won't work in game unless it's updated. Any Idea if it will be?
Cain Jul 17, 2020 @ 2:26am
Oh I tried changing that but nothing seem to have happened. I'll try again later.
Private Feelings  [author] Jul 16, 2020 @ 1:06am
While having the Plentiful Tradition patch/add-on active, follow the instructions given in this mod's description (just above the comment field), but on the UI file provided by the Plentiful Tradition patch/add-on.
Cain Jul 15, 2020 @ 2:45pm
Sorry but which mod are you referring to?
Private Feelings  [author] Jul 15, 2020 @ 2:07am
You might do similar description as in this mod's description, but with that mod active, and in that mod's file.
Cain Jul 14, 2020 @ 7:21pm
So apparently it didn't worked for me because I was using the Plentiful Tradition patch/add-on.
agentSith May 30, 2020 @ 1:45am
for everyone on 1366x768 resolutions: you can change y to y=2800 and it don't let you see whole last line of traditions, but your cursor can select lower icons in traditions and you can both read description and select it (I test it in fullscreen mode). Yes, it is does not look very good, but atleast it makes EST working properly

Same problem as last person just wondering if anyone can tell me what the number of the mod is in workshop/content/281990? Not sure if same for everyone or unique?
Cain Jan 29, 2020 @ 5:26pm
Yeah this thing doesn't work for me and my resolution is 1366x768. Anyone else found a workaround?
sailormarsfan1701 Dec 6, 2019 @ 10:32am
ive been having rouble downloading uis for some reason it says the mod only works for......2.5 plus there was a recent october / november update at least i think so. other than that im gonna try to alter the size of the traditions box in the game see if it helps
Private Feelings  [author] Dec 6, 2019 @ 9:42am
I think it should work, and there have been no UI changes in a while. Is there a problem?
sailormarsfan1701 Dec 6, 2019 @ 6:05am
has this been updated?
Private Feelings  [author] Oct 29, 2019 @ 1:13pm
GOod to hear, cheers.
amirfoox Oct 28, 2019 @ 3:28pm
Now it seems to be working on my side, must have been a mod conflict. Thanks!
Private Feelings  [author] Oct 28, 2019 @ 1:00pm
The scroll itself stopped working,no matter the number?
amirfoox Oct 23, 2019 @ 6:52am
@Girion hard to say, really. Scrolling the traditions screen simply no longer works.
Private Feelings  [author] Oct 23, 2019 @ 5:31am
Ok weird. Is this a new issue with 2.4 which was not present before?
amirfoox Oct 17, 2019 @ 2:54am
@Kiefy This mod indeed no longer works, but I found a rough workaround in the form of the Traditional Trees mod, which I like considerably less but at least it's working: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1703333167
Kiefy Oct 15, 2019 @ 8:04pm
Your mod doesnt seem to make any changes as ive been trying to get the scrolling to work when your cursor is inside the window https://i.imgur.com/oOFU69z.png in the screenshot if my cursor is in the top half of raider where the window for traditions are i can scroll the window up and down but if its in the lower half where there is no background window it it will zoom in and out of the system, is it possible this mod doesnt work in 2.4.X?
Private Feelings  [author] Jun 30, 2019 @ 12:39pm
It is good that you found the folder. I admit the folders could have decent names, but it is some weird decision by steam and I can only wish they had a better system.

Have you tried some different values`? Try both increasing and decreasing. Also, try to do something that would mess up the game major league, like deleting large parts of the text in the interface file (after saving it somewhere else), just to confirm that your changes are actually made to the game.

I wish that I could be more helpful, but I do not the interface system better, and we are to some extent quite limited in the modding. If anyone else have done this and succeeded it would be good to get some input.
Gideon Falcon Jun 23, 2019 @ 2:09pm
Okay. One more time. I think I figured out how to do all that stuff, but I switched the y value from 1600 to 1000 and restarted the game, and nothing changed.
Gideon Falcon Jun 23, 2019 @ 1:05pm
Okay, I have looked through the entire mods folder you suggested and I can't find anything resembling what this file should look like. Heck, even then I'll have to uncompress and recompress the altered file, and I've only done that once and can't for the life of me remember how.
Gideon Falcon Jun 23, 2019 @ 9:37am
What do you mean trial and error? Is it not actually named by the file name you gave? How am I even supposed to know when I've found it? It sounds like the instructions you gave are not actually helpful.
Private Feelings  [author] Jun 23, 2019 @ 2:31am
You pretty much have to trial and error from that folder until you find the folder for this mod (in it is under interface).
First you get a random set named by numbers which is games, after that it is for mods. You just have to trial and error until you find it, unfortunatley I cannot help (and yes, I do not understand why they could not have made it easier).
Gideon Falcon Jun 23, 2019 @ 12:46am
Okay, I found the Workshop folder now, but I still can't find any "zzzest_lrp_topbar_traditions_view.gui" file.
Gideon Falcon Jun 23, 2019 @ 12:28am
I have no idea how. I don't have a file on my computer labeled Steam Apps, and have no idea how to 'open the mod.' I don't know how to see what the screen looks like while playing around with those values either, it seems like you'd have to keep saving and reloading the game with the new setting. Is there a way you can explain it more clearly?
Private Feelings  [author] Jun 20, 2019 @ 3:20am
Have you followed the instructions in the descriptions? What y positions have you tried and what effect do it have?
Gideon Falcon Jun 19, 2019 @ 7:27pm
My screen is 1377x768, I use the common high res mod with 70% zoom, and the last row is still out of view.
GrimmSlayer007 Jun 6, 2019 @ 8:53pm
Update?
Figaround Apr 16, 2019 @ 6:33am
Wrong, the problem (most likely) in your main mod.
Figaround Apr 16, 2019 @ 5:34am
I enabled this mod. He broke production of resources - alloys and goods of mass demand is not extracted completely! And the limit of other resources is significantly reduced. Screenshot .
Private Feelings  [author] Feb 4, 2019 @ 3:43pm
Haven't got the beta patch yet, so cannot really fix it yet.
JANITOR Feb 4, 2019 @ 3:29pm

kongdeguiji Jan 29, 2019 @ 5:51am
2.2.4,Prosperity Traditions shows an error
Johnny Mayhews Jan 19, 2019 @ 5:40pm
Omg thank you! Where has this been? :steamfacepalm:
Private Feelings  [author] Dec 30, 2018 @ 10:07pm
in that folder there is a lot of files named with numbers. You will have to randomly search through them to find first the stellaris folder, and then in that the est patch folder.
Iskander Dec 30, 2018 @ 2:15pm
I can't seem to locate the zzzest file. Any clues beyond the (Steam/Steam Apps/Workshop/...)?
LGWhiteWolf Dec 21, 2018 @ 12:27pm
Same about 2.2.2 (I know it must be frustrating , sorry)
Private Feelings  [author] Jun 14, 2018 @ 8:55am
