it should use boss items
For example: a recipe for the Spear (edited for 30 damage) and then another for the "Spear +1" that increases damage by 5 for each upgrade or refinement. and for a Spear +10, damage 30+50.
Mod is giving flaws a moment is equipped and squeeze the I (to Inspect).
When it is used to combat spiders or penguins, it also fails.
In spite of that, his/her mod is very good.
Could it be combined with the Scythe mod? (faster taking grass/twigs/reeds at some higher level)

Kinda strange how characters hold it as if it's a pickaxe.
Thanks for feedback, with v1.0008 I tried to fix it. If you notice another issue, please let me know.
Would be nice if there was an option to customize more. Personally i'd want to maybe change the recipe to Cane+8 gears = 45% movement or something. Or maybe like Smitty said being able to have it become gradually more expensive to upgrade. I'd rather have a stronger upgrade at a luxury cost.
@「Templar」
if possible, could you come back to modding and make it so you can enchant the cane up to "x" amount of times, and each upgrade giving like 10+ more speed, with configureable costs?
Thanks for giving an idea to improve the mod. I have to tidy up the mod, that is the first thing I "must" do. Then, I am gonna start this request. Since I have time to develop now it should not take much.
