@Pataur the Great The Bretons also have it (As long as you are a Celtic character I think).

It's a great system because it makes your lords happy as they can choose the monarch, you will never get regencies, they often choose someone well capable and experimented to lead them, and you will never lose the succession.
Plus, you can influence the vote yourself and arrange your kingdom so the tanist also inherit the capital (be the only elector in your duchy/kingdom and vote for the future tanist).
