So have anyone been able to download or should I re-upload?
Alex Rox  [author] Feb 27, 2012 @ 6:56am
Problem with downloads might be something to do with Steam not with mod size, this is a small size mod btw. I had problem uploading yesterday and today it went fine so check back later. If problem remain I can try to re-upload.
@Lieutenant Prick: You can't refund perk points without script extenders. Best practise would be to type in console without brackets: (help adventurer) then look for PERK record with (code) and then type: (player.removeperk code). Now you removed perk and you will have to manually add it somewhere else. So use (help "perk name") to find ID of perk you want to add and use: (player.addperk code) to add that perk. When there are multi ranked perks it is not always sorted by rank might be bit tricky to find correct rank so its best to invest in single perks this way.

It could be that this mod is now too large for steam workshop, at least in it's current state. That has been the problem with this error message with other mods that I have used. Perhaps the author could release the three affected perk trees as three seperate mods. Although some people may not like this, you can still use mods without staying subscribed, you just have to click on data from the launch screen and set them to load. From there you can cycle through your mods and subscribe and un-subscribe as updates become available.

Same as PhyrigianDominant, getting a failed to download error (16) since I booted up this morning. Also, does anyone know anyway to reset a perk point I spent? I spent a point in block before I added this mod so now I have a point in "Adventurer" and since well, I never use Torches it's a point wasted. Any idea on how to remove it? As anytime I try to console "Adventurer" it just comes up with NPC's >:

getting a fail to download error (16) while updating this mod. Could it be the size?

"Zun...HAAL VIIK!!"...*shivers*

That is possibly the worst sound you can hear as a warrior or thief (Do you have -any- idea how hard it is to find daggers in a dark ass cave while being murdered by a draugr murderboss deathlord of spine-pulling? And if there happens to be pools of water nearby you're screwed...) type character. And yes you can get it, but it starts losing it's usefulness after mid-game because it's level capped at 10/20/30 depending how many words you use, unfortunately. >.>
Scrub Printer Feb 25, 2012 @ 9:25am
But, yeah I think it might be a little OP for immunity to disarm
Scrub Printer Feb 25, 2012 @ 9:25am
Its a shout that disarms you I dont think you can learn it tho'
mbradtke Feb 24, 2012 @ 9:48am
I don't know.
I even didn't know that u can get disarmed so far >.>
StefanFr Feb 23, 2012 @ 8:46am
Nah, i think its OP.
Alex Rox  [author] Feb 23, 2012 @ 2:22am
I have a cool idea for fists, keep the original effect but add disarm immunity as well. :P
mbradtke Feb 22, 2012 @ 3:57pm
That's intresting.
Oh well. I guess no need to change then :P
Unless u think the perk is too weak.
U already tested it so i'll leave this up to you.
50% change to resist stagger sounds nice though. :p
Now we need to get rid of fist of steel >.>' worst perk ever
Alex Rox  [author] Feb 22, 2012 @ 12:18pm
Ok I tested thoroughly. Made a stagger spell so I can easily stagger myself and 5 perks each with different stagger reduction testing with one perk at a time. All fine. Then I entered combat with few guards waiting for power attack stagger and I was paying attention to the duration of the stagger. Added tower of strength and stagger duration was really reduced as it should. So final conclusion is that perk is working fine but difference is hard to notice unless you're looking from a 3rd person view at your character stagger animation. I guess there is a confusion on how the perk works. It should reduce stagger animation duration and it does it well. It should not make 50% chance to not get staggered at all what probably some people might think. So I will leave that perk as it is there is really no need to change anything. Unless you think that other option to have 50% chance to completely avoid stagger is more appropriate.
Alex Rox  [author] Feb 22, 2012 @ 11:00am
I checked that mod. Basically same perk entry is used just instead of multiplier 0.5 he is using 0 with random percentage to occur. I think I need to test this in the game myself and see if it really doesn't work and what different values do.
mbradtke Feb 22, 2012 @ 9:45am
All right. Thank you for for checking.
However, after some more research i found this
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6765
Tower of strenght seems to be broken, yes.
This "Fix" isn't working actually but someone is working
on it regarding to the comments but i guess this will conflict with you're mod
because it changes the perk? Not really sure.
If so it would be awesome if u could implent this in ure mod later
when it's done (: I'll watch it and let u know if ure intrested in doing so.
And i like the idea of swtitching the 2 perks by Rasmus_ep (:
However 70 Skill Requirement and cushioned requirement should stay
because it fits the role very well as requirement it sounds realistic and
because conditioning is a very strong skill because it removes the most important disadvantage of heavy armor if u ask me. Keep up the awesome work :P
Rasmus_ep Feb 22, 2012 @ 8:38am
Ahh sounds good, let us know what you come up with! :)
Alex Rox  [author] Feb 22, 2012 @ 6:53am
I've taken a look at Tower of Strength perk and everything seems to be ok. Perk should reduce duration of stagger by 50%. If that does not happen then it is a bug in the game code and I cannot fix it, unfortunatelly.
Alex Rox  [author] Feb 22, 2012 @ 6:47am
I might make unarmed perk go to my weapon overhaul mod and put it in one handed tree, just an idea, and then replace that perk with something else more useful.
Rasmus_ep Feb 22, 2012 @ 1:24am
Hi mitchalek.
First off, some very nice perk overhauls you are making, thumbs up for that :)

My only request is with regard to heavy armor and the fists of steel perk, the one which transforms armor into unarmed damage. Personally I never brawl and thus have little use for this perk, but due to the later perks I have to have it. Seeing the way you set up the "new" perk tree would it be possible to maybe swap the positions of fists of steel and reactive plating? I feel reactive plating would be more universally desired/usefull wheres fists of steel seems more for those who enjoy unarmed brawling. Thus swapping their positions in the tree around seems intuitive, at least to me.

At any rate keep up the awesome work :)
Alex Rox  [author] Feb 21, 2012 @ 4:45pm
Thanks for the info I'll check tomorrow.
mbradtke Feb 21, 2012 @ 2:45pm
Thank you very much. This mod has just saved the game for me and generally saves the blocking in Skyrim because it's just broken, sadly.
I really dislike it if games are unfinished relased. Seriously,
this deflect arrows bug is totally game breaking and such stuff
just ruin it for me. I don't get it how games can be relased is such a way,
they could fix this stuff at last but i guess bethesa isn't intrested?
However. Awesome work! Hope u keep it up.
I totally like the improvements u've made without breaking anything balance wise.
One more thing: I've just noticed that the heavy armor skill tower of strenght seems not to work. It doesn't have any impact on the stagger effect.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Heavy_Armor / They say so in the Bug's section.
Maybe u can check it and solve the problem and implent it in ure mod
Would be great. (:

Thanks for that however I am more of a Suggest and Improve type as to the create it yourself type. My girlfriend gets mad at me all the time for Adapting things for purposes they are not intended for. Wasn't trying to overload your chat by the way and I totally get it if your done with this mod as I am pleased with how it functions. Thanks again for your speedy responce and please by all means keep up the fantastic work!
Alex Rox  [author] Feb 21, 2012 @ 1:42am
I appreciate your suggestions but don't expect to see more perk ranks or new perks because one of the rules I've set. One of the rule being to include maximum of 1 new perk per tree because it is already hard to get enough points to spend them over the board. It is possible that I'll additionally make a second look at armor perks like Well Fitted and Matching Set, transfer their bonus to the skill itself and replace them with something different, be it h2h for light armor or health regen for heavy.
Anyway, I think you should get your hands on modding tools and start learning how to change the game to your liking. You are full of ideas I can tell and that is the most important aspect when trying to create something unique.

General Perk Thoughts - Would love to see a Mirror Perk in Light armor that adds Unarmed
Damage like in the Heavy Armor Tree mostly for brawling thoughts and for my Kajiit
Love :)

Mod Thoughts - Is Amazing Have been thinking about this all freaking day! Amazing
Retooling Two thumbs up and more from me :)

P.S. If the Muffle effect on the Bow is impossible a decient back up would be more bash
damage from Bow Punching...

P.P.S I had this all in one post but it seems it was way too long am seriously not trying to over spam your comment section sorry :(

Miastra Feb 20, 2012 @ 7:27am
One last note on all dmg/armor perks I suggested, the skill ranks I think should be quite high maybe first rank is 60 or 70 last rank is 80 or 90 hell maybe even 100... so possible format for lets say Marksmanship would be Rank 1 (skill rank 70) Increases all bow dmg by 25% and Rank 2 (skill rank 100) Increases all bow dmg by 50% for Light armor could be Rank 1 (skill rank 60) Increase Armor value of Light Armor by 25% and Rank 2 (Skill rank 90) Increase Armor value of LIght armor 50%. That way it's a late game kinda umph instead of a Start to Finish perk dump.
Miastra Feb 20, 2012 @ 7:20am
Tested and while I did end up loosing some armor the values lost were about equal in trade for the elemental emprovments... Possibly add a single perk being 2 ranks for additional 25-50% increase in armor values for armor, amount blocked for shileds, and fire damage dealt for torches, perhaps. I love this mod your weapon one too the ultility functionality of armor perks are much more indepth now thanks to this. I would also like to see if possible the same perk additions to weapons a single 2 perk for increased dmg... Running Deadly Dragons and any loss of dmg makes aspects neigh impossible.... Just a thought though :)
Miastra Feb 20, 2012 @ 6:33am
Omg finally I am going to give this a shot.... :)
