ive installed the miraak follower mod and i think he looks awsome with the dragon aspect on so could you add a second ring in case i lose mine and/or i can give it to miraak? thanks
there's text saying to lost ice shelf but no location change happens...
@Diablo Cow the ring simply gives the appearance of the Dragon Aspect shout so it can be used at any time with no duration, the armor isnt needed for it to work.
I'm glad you like it, it always seemed a shame to me that one of the coolest effect added by a DLC was so temporary, which is why I made this mod. My biggest issue is that I start working on a mod and then lose interest after a while... I probably have 20+ half-finished mods that I keep going back to slowly, so any mod that has a larger scale of added features generally doesn't get done quickly. I just have too many good ideas! XD
I'm studying for an applied computer science degree, with a inter-major focus in game design. This covers everything from coding classes, to graphics and game design. To be honest, I started learning Papyrus one summer just so I didn't get out of touch with how to code. It really is a horrid, messy coding system...
I agree with your comment about people who complain. The only problem here is ignorance: the general information on what not to do in almost every instance of computers is not readily available: you have to search for it. That means that you pretty much have to screw up to learn how to do something the right way, unless you feel like doing tons of research before starting whatever you're doing. It's sad that trying to learn anything computer-related by poking around isn't always a viable option, from being safe surfing the internet, to knowing how to properly maintain your Skyrim save files, and watching for the kinds of mods that could possibly destabilize and/or corrupt them.
With the game engines... I'm really not sure. The Creation Engine has many more good features than the Gamebryo Engine, but at the same time, some things were lost or changed for the worst. The biggest thing is that everything is SO much smoother with the Creation Engine, from movement to execution. I REALLY wish they hadn't changed how save file work though!
What classes are you studying? I'm working full time, going to school full time as well.
One can be hopeful that everyone running can just be OK with an OS format or in this case a full steam format, but then again, those negative ratings come from the people who say "I don't have my save files!"
Even though they don't image properly and are the same person who complain that their computer isn't "working well" when they have .bat files and java intrustions going on :P
You do great work though! I was thoroughly impressed! What is the file path for it?
I can try and at least take a look, see what's going on with the display script with the .bsa
Curious that Bethesda kept the format but hey, if it worked for Fallout 3, it'll work for Skyrim right?
:)
Anyways, I recommended this mod to a couple of friends. They love it. Favoriting and liking so that you get some lovin'.
I loved the little mini dungeon it was fun!
Although, when I activate the etched tablet, nothing happens. Is it not supposed to do anything?
Anyways, great job! Keep up the good work!
