I just started playing through a new game as a spellcaster and around level 20 I started to run into troll after troll, and they are legit unkillable, even with fire (which should be their weakness.) I have to console command kill them or they kill my entire party

This is an exciting mod. Any chance you may improve other "push overs" like skeletons and draugr? The skeletons were actually creepy the first couple times I ran into them (until I realized a single swing of my sword shatters them) :(

I treid master difficulty, with deadly dragons, harder combat, combat realism and very hard version installed. My character is now dead

how do u switch from normal to hard im lvl 65 now and i can kill the humanoids that hunt me no prob with som healing

not at level 15 atleast not unless he gets fus ro dah'd of a cliff, but I really intended it to maek being able to kill these things a significant milestone. In real life you'd have to be pretty damned skilled to eve stand a chance against something like a troll. I may, however make a leveled version that makes them beatable earlier, so check back from time to time.

Is a troll with your mod even beatable at level 14 or 15? i saw that its now at level 34. I am thinking of getting your mod, i love a good challege..maybe more than normal, but i dont want impossible. I also use more powerful dragons caues i got sick of seeing normal creatures kill the star of the show...dragons. I play on expert. So im interested. I just dont want to run away from every encouter till im like level 30.

theyr'e not leveled so they'll stay the same level for the whole game, but wolves really aren't impossible to kill. I loaded a level one character with no armour and an iron sword and a normal wolf is only a relativly tough fight. far from impossible. without the mod active I could kill it in about 3 hits. If anything I think i should make them stronger, perhaps i can reach a compromise by adding a rare form of stronger wolf, not sure when I might do that though. I was playing on master by the way.

So how does this work? Does this mean if i start a new character the wolves will be at level 12 and near impossible to kill? Does this mean that the enemys dont scale up but just have a new solid level there gonna sit at now? I think u need to explain how this mod works a little bit more in detail.

still too easy - how come NO ONE has made NEW MONSTERS. How about some Golems of the sorts, for example something like those HUGE monsters from Gothic 3 - now those were some bad ass monsters - and there were areas they guarded and you simply knew when you saw them that is is gonna be hard to go past them. I am still searching the workshop here but cannot find ANY mod that makes NEW MONSTERS. As it is now - it feels boring - the same monsters over and over. The game should have been made so that later new monsters are added ...

Could you make the normal wolves more vanilla, these are the first things you fight after getting out fo Helgen after all, and I usually play on Master, too, so I don't want to get oneshotted by a pesky little wolf.

You should also make a nastier variety of Skeevers.

If you arent seeing the effects you may need to wait 30 ingame days and come back to the creature. my theory is that since the leveling system will keep any creatures you encounter at the same level for the next 30 days it remembers what skill they were last time despite the mod. try going to a different one of those creatures or loading a save where you havent been near it for 30 days and fast traveling back to it. Not sure if this is true but i tested it alot and it always worked, and I cant think of another explanation.

well, you'll get chased up 7,000 steps. It's suppoosed to do that, dont expect to have any hope of kiling them at the start

What about the earlier levels, where your running for your life as a Snow Troll chases you up the 7,000 Steps? :D
