Hey, your mod sounds real cool, and I'd like to get it. Could you try to adjust weapon racks to work better/properly as well? The mod I installed that fixed that for me is no longer supported by the maker and doesn't work anymore.
cheeky.bastard Mar 31, 2015 @ 12:02pm
Cheers skunk ghoti that "markfordelete" code works a treet. I deleted every horrendous eyesore in my house, including the sacks of flour and wine barrels in my bedroom.

I made a bucket list...
Bucket gone.
Bucket gone.
Bucket gone...

The biggest problem with Lakeview Manor what I think is the most urgent to fix is the dining table. Even if you’re able to delete things any think you put on the table either flies of or falls to the floor! It is infuriating.
Kids play an instalment and puts it on the table and it flies into the hall or walkway its eye-popping insanity.

For some reason Steam is only downloading the .esp and not the .bsa. Is there somewhere I can download this directly and manually install it? Or maybe you can upload it to the Nexus?
skunk ghoti Aug 23, 2014 @ 12:28am
@Gamerdan: try this (but save game first, yeah?).
1. go into first-person mode.
2. open console.
3. Click on offending item.
4. type "markfordelete" (without quotation marks)
5. Close console.
6. leave, then enter home again.
The item should now be gone.

It isn't making the lighting fixed
Vagrant Heart May 1, 2014 @ 4:49pm
heres a question i dont know if it ever gets asked...when you put in the lights in the basement, they all say (2), but one of those you only get a single light for, and it doesnt seem like any of the lights actually LIGHT up anything. has anyone made a mod to fix that problem in the cellars yet?
Wretched Apr 18, 2014 @ 6:19am
Is there anyway your or someone else could make a simple mod where you can delete furniture and other interior decorations from your Hearthfire home?
cbhicks1 Mar 19, 2014 @ 7:54am

Oops... I totaly forgot to read the rest of the comments. Sorry 'bout that...
Fafnir747 Mar 8, 2014 @ 12:09pm
Very nice work, honistly! Just one thing: will this one conflict with the "Lakeview Manor Basement Extension" (Steam) ?
smr54 Mar 8, 2014 @ 1:22am
Look at the 7th picture for your mod on Steam it shows the ladder or stairs to Open Lakeview Manor. In the mods I am talking about the wall behind the ladder is gone and a new cell or cells is/are behind it for the bedroom mod and armory mod. Nothing else in front of the ladder is changed.
smr54 Mar 8, 2014 @ 1:15am
The mods are Lakeview Manor Basement Bedroom, and LM Basement Armory (close enough).
Thre room is right behind where the coffin used to be and right behind the ladder you added. It didn't change the main part of the basement, just the space/cell behind the added ladder. My game is acting up and sorely needs your mod, but I need the extra space in the basement as well. Is there an earlier version of your mod just prior to the adding of the ladder?
Refactor  [author] Mar 7, 2014 @ 4:47pm
@smarsrich: Is this other mod changing the same basement space (i.e.- not adding a new room)? If so, even changing the ladder probably won't eliminate the conflict. Two mods trying to modify the same space often confuse the game.
smr54 Feb 25, 2014 @ 6:49pm
I have to say I really love this mod, and have been using it since you posted it. I subscribed to a lakeview bedroom basement mod, and now the new basement armory mod ( at seperate times) and immediately had trouble with them, I wasn't sure what was causing the conflict. Now after many....... trial and errors of removing other mods, I removed this mod and the problem was solved. It seems to be the extra ladder you put into the basement is causing the conflict. It's a shame I really love this mod, is there any way you can do a seperate file which eliminates the additional ladder, but keeps all the other fixes???? Please!!!

how do i get some one to buy me stuff for my home it wont let me pick a follower to be a stewert
Star☆Blade Aug 13, 2013 @ 3:11pm
Overall, its a nice mod. I like my Lakeview and it needed a bit of tidying up! :P While I'm thinking of it, here's some recomendations for future content/fixes that I think will be great for Lakeview-
> Fix navmesh issues as soon as possible.
> The wall idea that Tirien66 mentioned.
> Just inside the wall,(or somewhere that isnt occupied, possibly the area near the wolf den; minus some trees) there could be a small shop/market area that your spouse tends to. (Given my wife always says 'we have a cozy little profit' when I ask about the shop... that apparently exists somewhere! xD
Blue_Shayde Aug 4, 2013 @ 12:18am
FINALLY. someone who's done something with the Lakeview cellar. xD I hated how dark it was.
Refactor  [author] Jun 27, 2013 @ 6:16am
@smarsrich: I suppose it's possible, although it would be in the distant future.
smr54 Jun 26, 2013 @ 11:32am
Any chance you will be adding this mod to include Windstad, and Heljarkin(?) homes.
Refactor  [author] Jun 25, 2013 @ 3:25pm
@samuelbell99: That's a bug in the original Lakeview Manor. My seveal attempts to fix it were unsuccessful, but it looked like a problem with bounding boxes and attaching items to it.
royo1718 Jun 25, 2013 @ 1:38pm
Whenever I try to use the weapon/shield rack in the bedroom the weapons stick into the ceiling, other than that the mod is great though.
Tirien66 May 2, 2013 @ 8:41am
Hmm, could you put one of those gate walls, like the ones surrounding riverwood, between Lakeview and... I believe the building was Pinewatch? The locked one near the road with all the bandits? It always bugged me that bandits could just sorta walk on over with no problem.
Lady Zoner Mar 27, 2013 @ 6:02am
Why not set the dinner table with empty plates? That bugs me personally XD
Refactor  [author] Mar 24, 2013 @ 4:12pm
You can adjust the smoke effect in the CK, or delete it entirely if it bugs you that much. Look for the cell BYOHxxxxBasement, or something like that, where xxxx is the name of the hold where the house is. Lakeview Manor is BYOHFalkreathBasement or something similar. Just going off memory here.
=EGC= Kalell4 Mar 22, 2013 @ 12:58pm
Added "ventilation" shafts for the basement so that the smoke and heat from your forge can escape.
Please give me the batch file, if you would like to share, or just tell me how you did it. I have forges in all of my basements and the smoke from them is a nuisance. Thanks
Refactor  [author] Feb 23, 2013 @ 10:09pm
Definitely download the "Unofficial Skyrim Patch", and the unofficial patches for whatever DLC you have. Those fixes hundreds/thousands of minor bugs and are a must!
Gallaron Koryx Feb 23, 2013 @ 11:13am
@williaml.grwejr I haven't seen many glitches on my PC version in the year I've been playing but there are plenty of Bug Fix mods on here. Something the console people don't get =D
GenerallyTheWorst Feb 22, 2013 @ 10:15am
pretty awesome, ive been playing skyrim since it first came out, but just started playing it on the computer, although i had it on the playstation and hated all the glitches and shit, its pretty much just as glitchy on the pc... but i still love skyrim
Refactor  [author] Feb 17, 2013 @ 1:40pm
This mod does not touch anything in Dawnstar. You most likely have another mod installed that is causing these problems. Grass on the inside of Lakeview Manor is also a known bug that randomly appears (usually it is in the side additions). Try disabling some of your other mods to see if the problems goes away, and let me know if you have one that is causing conflicts.
soiglotreekavicator Feb 16, 2013 @ 6:19am
Why is grass inside the Jarl's house in Dawnstar as well as inside Lakeview Manor? And in the cellar I saw some miscellanious items moving right towards the 2nd ladder.
Skorne Tet'Zu Feb 12, 2013 @ 9:25pm
Thanks Much for the quick and indept response. I truly appreicate it. I guess I was just jumping the gun when I didn't see everything on the list. But this is great info...and a cool MOD. As to the Mannequins - LOL. They don't creep me out however, but then again, I'm running another MOD which turns them into Cute Female Nords (grin).
Refactor  [author] Feb 12, 2013 @ 8:40pm
As for your layout concerns...you can put an enchanting table and alchemy lab in the main hall without having to build the separate towers! You can build your bedroom and still have an enchanting station in your house, so no worries there. Also, since the basement has all of your smithing needs, you're not missing out by building a kitchen/library. The only drawback is that your house has fewer mannequins (but those things creep me out, so I'm fine with that). For the north wing, you probably won't need the storage room because there's so many other places to store things if you furnish the rest of your house.

I built a bedroom and kitchen and it suits me fine. I have a garden outside, smithing and storage in the basement. In fact, I didn't even build a north wing because I don't even need it. Maybe I'll add the alchemy tower just to get the nice views from on top of the house....

@skorne_tetzu To answer your questions: 1) You reminded me I forgot to link the exterior cellar door to the building plans. So, it would probably be best if you build first, then subscribe. Otherwise, you'll have a cellar door going to nowhere! I'll put that fix on my to-do list. Otherwise, it is safe to subscribe anytime, it won't mess up anything. 2) The option to build a basement will appear after you complete the main hall. My mod does not add that, it's part of the Hearthfire DLC. My mod just makes a few changes to what's already available. 3) You can build a smelter next to the forge...but again that's a feature of Hearthfire and not my mod. 4) If you have Dawnguard and choose to become a vampire, you can build a coffin to sleep in. If you're not a vampire that option is not available, so why not make it in to something useful? I put some stairs there instead!
Skorne Tet'Zu Feb 12, 2013 @ 7:35pm
CONT'D

4) You mentioned a Coffin... is that an Option or simply part of the MOD? Eventually I plan to Hunt Vampires not join them; but either way, I can always considered it a Trophy.

Hopefully I won't have to reload a previous save... but will if need be; I was very disappointed that I have to choose between Blacksmithing or a Kitchen -- I kind of need both!

On a 'somewhat' unrelated note... does (or CAN) the basement have an Enchanter's Table and an Alchemist Table? I need a bedroom, so the Enchanter Tower is out... though I'm undecided on the (I believe) North Wing.

Advanced thanx...and I look forward to your response.
Skorne Tet'Zu Feb 12, 2013 @ 7:35pm
I just purchased the land to build Lakeview Manor. After reading through the plans I came straight here... and found you -- Woot!!!

A couple few questions:

1) Is it going to be a problem if I begin builiding LakeView Manor, and then afterwards Subscribe to Your MOD? (I'm going to start building now, but at least I'll know if I have to resort to a Previous Save. Basically I'm not sure if I should Subscribe before, during or after finishing the house).

2) The plans didn't say anything about a Basement... so can I assume this is something that your MOD is adding?

3) You metioned a Forge.... will there also be a Smelter? If 'No'... can there be?

TO BE CONTINUED

To get rid of the grass growing on the trapdoor, the player can allways use console comand ~ then type "disable" after clicking on the grass. If by chance you get rid of more than the grass just type, "enable" and it should reappear.
Refactor  [author] Feb 12, 2013 @ 6:56am
p.s.- I think you have to head over the nexus mod website to download the "Winter is Coming" mod.
Refactor  [author] Feb 12, 2013 @ 6:55am
Yep. That is a full set of Dragonscale Armor (Heavy armor set). The cape is from the mod "Winter is Coming". I use it along with "Cloaks of Syrim". I think this particular cape is called "Himir's Hide".
Icec0ld Feb 11, 2013 @ 3:17pm
@williaml.grewejr

That's an easy one. He is wearing Dragonbone plate armor (fullset) by the looks of it and a cloak from (or at least simmilar to) the Clocks of Skyrim mod.
