Search through your mods, there might be one that changes the same character.

really cool mod! though for some reason only the portrait shows up for me not the actual textures, is there any way to fix that?

Is it possible to port a player head from KotOR 1 to replace a TSL player head? I only really ever liked the long-haired male from the first game for my character. I'm not totally inept at modding but I figured I'd ask first before I do a deep-dive of the files and find it's impossible or something.

Uh, no, sorry.
You can go into the mod's folder, move all the male files (files starting with PMH... and po_PMH...) to your main override folder, then unsub from this mod.
Mod location should be something like:
[drive]:\[steamfolder]\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\1255822080\override
Main override (create the folder if it's not there yet):
[drive]:\[steamfolder]\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II\override

Can you make all 3 of these separate? If so I would appreciate it greatly, I have a few mods running that already replace some of these heads and only want the male bearded head. I really love that having my character's bearded.

For the female only the portrait is changed not the face of the character. I am not sure about the male

@siegerjenkins: Yeah, I think it was DarthParametric who worked on all those races but none were truely turned into mods. I learned a bit of 3ds Max at school and played with Rhino at home, I prefered that one for modeling. I can do some basic stuff but making things work with KotOR takes specific knowledge, which I have little knowledge of. There's some tutorials on deadlystream if you want to experiment.

i saw someone working on a kel'dor race and it was note that its not intended to be a playable character but could still be downloaded. i would like to get into making mods myself. in high school, i had some modeling experience with solidworks and rhino 3d. made models easy stuff like sonic characters and bowser and such.

Technically no, but I myself am not that skilled with 3D modeling and combining it with what the game needs. Search on deadlystream.com , I don't think a real mod was made from it but I've seen people working on those races.

i suppose steam would keep you from making a playable kel'dor, sith, or i forget the name of kit fisto's race.

virus's are also a big concern of course. and my software knowledge is limited. used to be on pcs much more in the past but never took the time to learn past a certain point. i might go ahead and try it when i get off of nar shadaa. i like to have more than one character at the same point in the game in case i feel like switching it up lol. i saw the section t.hat said how to download to steam into the file location, i guess that is pretty straight forward
