And lastly, some suggestions:
• Maybe make the Mystery Box randomized? I know not everyone is a fan, but I like the additional challenge of having to find the Box. And maybe some indicator to show where the Box is. (Not like Vulture Aid, but more like an indicator on what floor it's on, etc.)
• Maybe add more power-ups? I've seen other custom maps with power-ups like Zombie Cash, Slow Time, Bottomless Ammo, etc. Not sure how adding these would impact the map balance but they are definitely fun additions in my opinion.
(Had to split this up into three posts because text limit. :(
I don't have any actual complaints with the map but there's some things I wanted to mention:
• Not sure if this was intentional, but it's possible to take the elevator into the Widow's Wine room instead going through the doors on the top floor. With the doors closed and the room having only one window for the zombies to enter, the map becomes really easy. Especially if there's four players all watching the only entry point into the room, lol.
I guess the only downsides to this "strategy" is that the zombies can't drop powerups since they're behind the window, and leaving the doors closed make the Mystery Box totally inaccessible.
• The melee animation for the weapons are amusing but they feel awkward. It makes the Bowie Knife impractical to get early on, having to buy a gun that doesn't melee with the stock. It's not game-breaking or anything but I'm not sure why they were exactly necessary, lol.
+ I love the atmosphere and vibe, it reminds me of Half-Life or some other old shooter game. The multiple floors and offices also remind me of Five which I liked. The overall detail is quite nice.
+ The custom weapons are plenty fun too, especially the Barrett which feels the same as CoD4. I also like how the PaP'd weapon sounds are the classic ones. (The new sounds are okay but the old ones feel more unique.) There could be a more variety in wall weapons IMO but it's not a big deal.
