That might be the map theme causing that. I'm fairly certain that Boreal maps all have "shorter days" being that Boreal/Taiga enviornments are more north. That might also explain the fog but not too sure. Maybe changing the map theme could work for you because I'm not a very often modder on this game so I'm not sure about the different mechanics when that sort of stuff comes into play, this is just logic and reasoning I'm using.

They area was way to dark. It was very rare to ever get sun light. Also the map was way to foggy
