please update for SE! :P

I am going to get this all because of the fact the swords in Skyrim are too wide.
Kip Dynamite Jul 25, 2015 @ 9:19am
Please make this for all swords!
Kent Bandit Jul 2, 2015 @ 1:50am
well can't you make all the weapons narrower? every other sword looks broad as a paddle in this game! including every dagger other than Iron, which looks like the only really tactical looking one in the vanilla game!
dataDyne ☂ Dec 31, 2014 @ 5:23pm
I suppose that looks a little better
NostalgiaVivec Sep 9, 2014 @ 2:01pm
can you make all blades narrow
noahrehder13 May 11, 2014 @ 9:00pm
i like the way the sword looks, have you ever considered making snow elf weapons

@Commander John Shepard You stole my armor. Fool.
BootyGangUwU Aug 2, 2013 @ 12:39am
Great mod! It makes the swords look far more normal.
Jimmy Scrambles Jul 11, 2013 @ 8:06pm
Can you do this for the steel and Imperial swords as well? Because they also a little bit ridiculous.
UsherOfDeath Feb 18, 2013 @ 11:45pm
great mod man thanks! Blades look much more realistic and not extremely bulky like Bethesda's swords.
d u c c Feb 14, 2013 @ 12:35pm
I was wondering why the blades were always so absurdly wide...
Pinky Caesar Feb 11, 2013 @ 12:46am
Can you break this into two seperate mods? Vanilla glass is cool as is but I like what you did with the elven.
xBallAnnihilator69000x Feb 10, 2013 @ 5:36pm
you might have gone a bit overboard on the glass. elven looks REALLY good, but part of the look of glass weapons was the leaf blade. you made them so narrow that it destroys the characteristic look.

broad swords arent for you milk drinker (see what i did there)
Kinda wish there were longswords, slightly slower than swords, slightly faster than battle axes, for longer range and small damage buff
Darkly Feb 9, 2013 @ 1:45pm
it looks like those swords whent on a biggest loser show and came back probobly laying off the internal organs and blood
Nomad Feb 8, 2013 @ 6:45pm
@milk drinker - it's ok if you're busy, just take your time
Winiret Feb 8, 2013 @ 12:47am
Have ya seen those warriors from Hammerfell? They got curved swords, huge, curved.. swords.
Dayth Feb 7, 2013 @ 8:15am
@Mass Clearly you have never seen Trueflame from Morrowind, sir!
Nothing says elegance like a flaming curved blade.
Morgana LeFay Feb 6, 2013 @ 10:45pm
i thank you for the mod
Thomas77  [author] Feb 6, 2013 @ 9:27pm
i actually dont want to alter any values as there is a mass of rebalance mods, i stick to modify the meshes only. not even textures. i will see if i will have time for the steel and also the iron swords (only onehanded) i think they need a rework but im too busy now, so just later
Nomad Feb 6, 2013 @ 7:21pm
I would like it if steel weapons were slightly smaller, not by much but to be noticeable. Daedric I think should be a bit bigger.
Nomad Feb 6, 2013 @ 7:19pm
@milk drinker - If you're going to make them nerrower, I think you should have them weigh slightless less and swing slightly faster, and a little less damage output too to keep balance in the game.
Sulfur Occult Feb 6, 2013 @ 3:34pm
Thanks for this one. I always thought the elven blades looked comically oversized and totally out of sync with the culture that produces them.
Rialbyeroc Feb 6, 2013 @ 2:04pm
this is perfect, it addresses one of the pet peeves ive always had about Oblivion and Skyrim.
MassMetalizer Feb 6, 2013 @ 4:43am
Dwarven is find the way it is I think. Their culture seems to favor funtionality over elegance.
Thomas77  [author] Feb 6, 2013 @ 12:03am
@bram, yes, it works with texture mods, but as soon as they modify the mesh too, it will conflict
@fernando. i didnt want to alter oter blades but you can tell which one you think too "big" and i might solve it. the only one is the dwarven i love as it is, i dont mind modifying the others :)
Calendyn Feb 5, 2013 @ 5:46pm
The new Elven sword looks like an Elven Master Sword :D
Thanks for the mod, not every sword in Skyrim needed to be a broadsword!
@bramvdborg According to the description, it should work as long as the sword you're referring to doesn't alter the shape, just the texture. But make yourself a save and give it a try!
MassMetalizer Feb 5, 2013 @ 2:21pm
I didn't think I'd like the thinner glass dagger. I was wrong.
Moat Feb 5, 2013 @ 12:35pm
is it also working for swords that are basicaly elven, but a changed color?
NandoCommando Feb 5, 2013 @ 11:57am
Will you be making a mod that will effect other blades?
Thomas77  [author] Feb 5, 2013 @ 7:36am
yes, its only for elven and glass weapons. jabber, if you have bsaunpack or similar, just unpack the glassword.nif and 1stpersonglassword.nif from skyrim-meshes. as workshop doesnt let me upload alternative files, i dont want to create an other mod for that.
MassMetalizer Feb 5, 2013 @ 12:59am
Wow, the thinner Elven sword feels more like its actually in elven style.
MajoraZ Feb 4, 2013 @ 4:57pm
I really, really like this, but can you make a version that doesn't change the glass sword?
NandoCommando Feb 4, 2013 @ 2:39pm
is this only for elven and glass weapons?
twill52 Feb 2, 2013 @ 8:12pm
THANK YOU!!
