It's a full audio rework pack man, it's gonna have some heft to it. I tried a compressed version, but it was awful quality :(

i was liek, "oh i want this." and when i saw the file sizes i was liek, "oh i dont want this."

Is it possible to make a pack on it's own which may replace some of these unchanged L4D1 tracks?
RobCoxxy  [author] Jun 19, 2017 @ 11:32pm
Unfortunately there seemed to be some weird compatiblity issues with L4D1 Maps on the Game Side of things, Axiom. L4D1 maps are baked in as their own separate content and aren't fully covered by Steam's valve pak modding method. :(

Some of the L4D1 tracks aren't changed? (Level end music.etc)
RobCoxxy  [author] Jun 7, 2017 @ 12:33pm
Oh man I haven't played that mode with this yet! :O
hasi Jun 2, 2017 @ 3:12pm
I'd also like to mention that this fits for the Last Man On Earth mutation incredibly well
RobCoxxy  [author] Jun 2, 2017 @ 5:28am
Hey man, no problem! :D
hasi Jun 1, 2017 @ 7:19pm
Thanks for making these, 28 Days Later is one of my favorite zombie films (and I've only really just started to get into them)
Cursed Hawkins Aug 1, 2014 @ 2:37pm
yeah it works it's just the saferoom music that doesn't but that i can easily over look as long as everything else about the mod is working so something that small doesn't bug me
RobCoxxy  [author] Aug 1, 2014 @ 12:21pm
Hey Joker: Is it? I haven't played in a long time, so they might have fixed it. I'll check first, but that's bloody great news if it is.
Cursed Hawkins Jul 31, 2014 @ 6:02pm
hey Rob any chance you going to update the discription about the L4D1 campaigns because this mod is working (at least for me) on them
RobCoxxy  [author] Jul 22, 2014 @ 3:06pm
The way the horde music works is it's a wide range of 2-5 second loops, that play in random orders. It works for those loops, because they're tailor made for it. Unfortunately, cutting a composed track into short lengths will sound pretty weird. I tried it, hated it, and gave up.

It's very hard work, haha!
The Ghost of Jay Leno Jul 20, 2014 @ 5:14pm
You sure you couldn't do it or have someone help you with it?
RobCoxxy  [author] Jul 20, 2014 @ 4:13pm
This replaces everything except the Horde music (which is modular and too fussy to mess with)
The Ghost of Jay Leno Jul 20, 2014 @ 10:35am
Can you replace all of the l4d music?
Larry David Mar 1, 2014 @ 9:18am
You should really make the all the sounds louder. I like this idea, but it's hard to hear a tank or a horde at the moment because it's not loud enough.
RobCoxxy  [author] Mar 21, 2013 @ 9:29am
@Candi: Thank you! You're welcome.
@Tnuc: Due to L4D checking your addons when the game launches, menu music only plays after you return to it from gameplay. It's a pain, but it's there at least. I might need to raise the levels on those tracks, though, they are really quite subtle. Glad you like the jukebox, too!
tnuc Mar 20, 2013 @ 5:36pm
You fixed all the major bugs! Only thing im noticing is that music starts only after loading and exiting a map. It is the nature of the beast that it cant launch with your menu music?
Cheers to you!
tnuc Mar 20, 2013 @ 5:31pm
awesome man love the jukebox so much!
Sam B Mar 20, 2013 @ 4:58pm
You just added John Murphy into one of my favorite games. I love you so much.
RobCoxxy  [author] Mar 20, 2013 @ 8:30am
Cheers, Tnuc! If you run into any problems, let me know and I'll fix 'em.
tnuc Mar 20, 2013 @ 1:13am
Thanks for improving this!
Glad you're still at it keep up the good work!
RobCoxxy  [author] Mar 1, 2013 @ 6:53am
Tnuc, the glitched sounds are weapons sounds for the M14. Occasionally modded weapon sounds open parts of other sound files, such as zombie injuries or even survivors' lines. Glad you like the idea, too!

I only have one change left to make, alter the levels for the menu music, they're a tad subtle, so might make them a bit louder.
tnuc Mar 1, 2013 @ 5:15am
Wow great Idea I love the 28 days later soundtrack and the way youve integrated into the game. Great Job!
Those songs made that movie so moving...
Just one of your changes would make the game so much fresher! menu music, dead music,
Ive gotta try this. also a Romero fan so ill look for those!
Thanks I will report back.
Im nervous that i heard glitched sounds in that video. Was that weapon addons? the recording?)
maybe clean up that video a bit :), hear the main theme right away, grab people faster.
Griff Jan 24, 2013 @ 2:23pm
Thanks mate.
RobCoxxy  [author] Jan 24, 2013 @ 1:46pm
You know what, I think it's in as menu music, but addons don't like that. I'm going to go through the files tomorrow and add it as a finalé track for you!
Griff Jan 24, 2013 @ 1:31pm
Is East Hastings in this?
