I saw this once. Didn't download it and moved on. Then I realized I wanted it, and couldnt find it.

Yes - check the Nexus! I've uploaded a "LESS" version. Hopefully this direct link will work : www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15625/

I really liked this mod but the flame cloak is just a way too bright. I have a hard time seeing anything with the bouncing flaming around my hands. Could it be toned down a bit?

This mod needs to be uploaded on the Nexus to get the big popularity, since it has a great chance to become a hot file there.

Well done.

By the way great mod.

It does not work with the dragon born DLC. when i zoom in 1st person mode and use stoneflesh and use the new shout called dragon aspect and then go back to 3rd person mode the visuals disapear and i dont know why. the stone flesh still is working but not the visuals, can you look into it please?

You might check out my other mod, Glowtastic, for visual-only effects. I think I have one in there that's the Ebonyflesh visual, but I can't remember if it hits clothing or not.
LoverboyL Dec 18, 2012 @ 5:50am
Would you be able to make an alteration spell (called 'diamond form/flesh) with similiar visual effects as the one in the picture except it includes the clothes and all over the body (like Ebony Flesh)? I want to make a character to roleplay as Emma Frost from X-men. If it's too hard, then don't bother. Excellent mod effects btw, definetly Ebony Flesh! Must have taken heaps of time.
Jesus Michel Cephrapouth Aug 17, 2012 @ 4:18am
Can you make mod that replace only alteration armor ?
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] Jul 26, 2012 @ 5:04pm
Noted and included in the documentation!

No problem, Mr. Paragon. I was merely noting the conflict down for the records. Your mod is awesome, but I want other users to be aware of conflicts.
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] Jul 25, 2012 @ 4:18pm
Any mod that affects the spells in question might cause problems with this mod and vice versa. All I really did was change the visuals for the effects, so if a mod is referencing that effect, it's likely there's gonna be issues. For example if someone's mod changes the various mage armor spells, depending on how they set it up, it may or may not work with this. Not much I can really do about that, sorry.

Armored flesh spells do not seem to effect Khajiit. Tried both oakflesh and stoneflesh. Possible conflict with Invested Magic mod causing problem. Definite mix up with Invested Magic mod will invalidate the magic investment, leaving you with a 24 hour spell that doesn't drain your magic reserves and cannot be turned off.

Awsome mod! thnx 4 creating it. Small mods like this make skyrim even better.

@ Sir Charles - You might try the other version of this mod, which is Alternate Visuals for Spell Effects http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1654315 there's a non-replacer version of Dragonhide that gives you a scaly look. The skin is from vanilla but for whatever reason wasn't used.
Charly and「MAGNUS」 Apr 27, 2012 @ 9:14pm
I feel like Dragonhide should literally give you, well ,a Dragon Hide for skin [like scales, not giant plates of overlapping masses]
PixelatedMagic Apr 27, 2012 @ 5:43am
Works great these are the exact kind of mods I myself have been looking for. they dont change any of the game aspects, just astetically alters spells and objects making it all look prettier or nastier depending on what kind of look you are going for. Once again great job. looking forward to anything you have coming down the pipe. :)
NexAeternum Apr 25, 2012 @ 5:46pm
Thank you very much, PoB. That fixed it, and it looks glorious.
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] Apr 25, 2012 @ 5:12pm
Ok, hopefully everything is fixed in this run!
NexAeternum Apr 25, 2012 @ 7:02am
I have no other mods affecting spell visuals or the core functionality of spells; though I do have quite a few texture and world-improvement mods.
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] Apr 25, 2012 @ 6:22am
I tested it and the armor-flesh spells work, I didn't set the cloak spells up right though. Attached the visual to the wrong effect, which was really stupid since I did it right on the other mod. I'll fix that tonight.

Do you have another mod that does something to the various mage armor spells?
NexAeternum Apr 24, 2012 @ 11:14pm
I cast all three elemental cloaks and the two armor-flesh spells my guy has (oak and stone). I only got standard effect.
Paragon of Badassosity  [author] Apr 24, 2012 @ 10:33pm
That's weird. What spell did you cast?
NexAeternum Apr 24, 2012 @ 10:23pm
I see no changes on my character. Unsubbed for now, favorited to track.
