Does this work with all other types of arrows?

Well, frankly unless we know what either Byzantine fire or Dwarven oil is made from, we don't know how long it might burn, and some materials for torches and probably the fire arrows of old then were strong enough to last a little while longer than that. Also, we therefore don't know if Dwarven Oil is the kind that burns! It may be the steam component of Dwarven Animuculi! Also, what happens when the fire arrow sets the grass, tree, door, or etc. on which it lands on fire for longer than a second?

I agree, this needs to light oil traps and even do more damage to ice creatures and trolls if not so already.

Burining arrows don't fucking work, for this mod to be realistic they'd have to go out after like 1 second.

dispite that these arrows don't set oil traps on fire, ormight oddly get into npc hands, it still is useful for those hard to see areas that need extra light and you don't want to unequip your bow to hold a light source.

I agree with several of the comments in that the "fire spike" that persists after the arrow strikes the target is bizarre and should be the most important thing to fix. Also, i noticed that one in ten times, my follower (Lydia at the time) would shoot fire arrows as well. And finally in several of my frequent tests to see how many npcs i can kill before i am overrun, i got into an arrow match with whiterun guards who suddenly got their hands on some fire arrows.

I have the same bug as lynce2000. The fire trail persists after hitting a target. If the target is friendly, I am no longer able to speak to him/her after the hit. I tried this on the Jarl of Whiterun to test the arrows. After he got up he just stood there and I was unable to speak to him, eventhough I only hit him twice. That means there was no aggro.

erm m8 they burn too long. normally they would burn aslong as ignited oil but else its a fine mod
tough you need pictures of crafting process and the exact recipe in quantity ^^

any chance of Sticky Arrows.- Tail on Fire. - IE if i have the super darklight mod with pitchblack cave could use the sticky arrows. as means to light up the room-.-

One question: From the demo video, it looked like the fires remain lit for a long while afterward.
Would it be possible to make them last about as long as the oil slicks do when ignited?
And I also am curious about oil ignition without having to break a hanging pot.

I think there might be a bug... when i kill an enemy the firetrail of the arrow stays there until i pick up he arrow from the body...if arrow is not recoverable effect will remain.
Other than that great mod bud.

There is another mod on nexus where you can see the arrow flaming on the bow but effect is too strong and messes with aim. Do you you think you could make a toned down effect like that?

Thx

Very nice, but one question. Does it ignite the oils found frequently in dungeons?
LIBERTY PRIME Apr 30, 2012 @ 3:41pm
Do they do fire damage as people burn?
GeoKm Apr 30, 2012 @ 12:58am

Changed some things again. Arrows are now burning inflight and are a lightsource inflight too. See the small demovideo I made. Updated description.
Warbeard Apr 27, 2012 @ 11:38am
Very cool. Any idea if you could make the arrow appear to be on fire in flight? Watching one of those sail to the target at night would be fantastic.

Bronc The Pheniox Apr 22, 2012 @ 8:05am
cool, cool, u should also make Flaming Deadric arrows, it sounds noobish i know but it's just a thought.
Artemin  [author] Apr 20, 2012 @ 11:24am
Yea ;) You can make them at the forge (100 Dwarven Arrows etc) and you can melt the burning arrows back to normal dwarven arrows (like removing the oil spilled leather on them). Try forge not smelter ;)
Updated description.
zombieparty Apr 20, 2012 @ 5:12am
