I didn't add them, they were probably one of the unit packs I have. Although, I don't keep track of those things since I tend to play zoomed out.

what mod did you use for the unit models? for me both bharat and hindustan have the fuggo vanilla indian models, so my only choice if i want to play in india in the long run are usually the mugals or forming bharat as nepal or assam and culture shifting to form tibet

Colby415, the spinning wheel is taken from the Mauryan Emperor Ashoka's symbol. The full symbol if the four lions facing the cardinal directions with a wheel underneath along with other animal imagery. The spinning wheel is a Dharmic (Hindu, Jain and Buddhist) representation of the circularity of time and has been in our symbolism for over 2000 years.

reddbane explained that the flag of India uses a spinning wheel as chosen by Gandhi. As an Indian Hindu I have no problem with this. The other flag is obviously Muslim. the whole point is to differentiate between Bharat and Hindustan.

I f you dont like this colby415, make your own mod.

@Vee
You know there is a fairly large Muslim community in India, about 15% of the population. ISIS is also not very popular in India; probably because ISIS regards the majority of Indian muslims as heathens because they belong to a slightly different sect of Sunni Islam. Isis genrally doesn't like Sufis, and are quite happy to behead them. But perhaps these subtleties are beyond your attention.

This doesn't make sense to me.. the Indian tri-color was specifically designed to be non-sectarian in the first place... the symbol in the middle is not a Hindu symbol.
