Is there a way to change the Piloting/Gunnery scores on these sheets within TTS? And if so, does it automatically recalculated Battle Value?
Thanks to anyone who can help!
It's one reason I haven't added to them, it was a lot of work to get them done, and to update it I'd have to redo everything from scratch just to figure out what I am missing.
I know many like to use counters (including some custom BT counters) but I prefer the simplicity and feel of drawing right on it.
We have a great table, the appropiate models and thanks to you, we have the mech sheets we need.
What we lack is the proper tools to write or draw onto the sheets.
How do you guys account for damage and heat?
"Name": "Bag",
I then gave it a nickname and had all the record sheets in the ContainedObjects collection.
I created them outside of TTS, just scripted the collection of sheets into the bag.
So for the full steps this is what I did:
1: make all the images, upload to imgur, use their export tools to get a big list of the links.
2: use that list of links and known order of the sheets to script in the images onto boards as separate files.
3: use another script to combine the organized mechs into the various bags.
4: load bags into TTS, test them, and then upload to workshop.
If you contact me I might be able to send you some scripts, but they are relatively basic and it was still a lot of work (which is why I haven't done vehicles myself yet)
I'm at a loss because google isn't helping much and I'm not sure what else to search for. I'm goign to cross post this to a couple of mods i'm trying to use and hope I can get some help, would love to play some BT on TTS using these great mods but i have to figure out how to first. :)
Thanks in Advance.
I have tried a few different ways, an not really seems to work well when it came to the interaction aspect. do you have a more specific suggestion of object to try?
I personally lock the board down, then use hotkeys to jump up close to them
I usually lock them down, then use the vector tool to draw on them.
I explored cards, which I didn't like, and a few other methods, but at the time I prepared these there weren't any custom objects that worked better. This combination is recent, but was just a quick add all the boards I had done and put them into a bag so that they can all be in one game, which wasn't previously possible.
