It's possible to be jailed if during the jump between faith plate you create a portal. Then in the turret chamber create another portal and take it. Then walk on the next faith plate. You jump to the nex closed door and can't come back (laser field). Place fissler between faith plates or remove portalable walls

I can still fling myself to the exit. I used the floor, not the walls. You can fix this easily though, simply make something that opens the door and not leave it open.

Hey Post-mortem, About the companion cube: It's not needed in the test, it's merely there as a testimony of the cruelty of Aperture Science. Getting stuck is another story: That isn't supposed to happen. I'll see if I can fix that.

Got trapped. I don't know if the companion cube is needed, but after I destroyed it and returned to the 1st room, I saw no point to the whole section with the turret, so I decided to return (by hitting the laser relay). When I faith plated past the laser fields, the flip panel was already closed from my 1st pass through, and I had to kill myself / restart.

I found a way to glitch the chamber... http://www.file-upload.net/download-7004681/ADC-Glitch.dem.html
download the demo and watch it by placing it into "SteamApps\common\Portal 2\portal2", opening the developer console ingame and typing " playdemo ADC-Glitch "

wait, your actually supposed to interact with that turret? all I did was hit the 2 buttons and the panel knocked it down (on accident of course. I had no idea hitting both buttons would flip a panel. I just decided to press everything I saw while trying to avoid the evil turret) o yah. and it killed me when I had no idea what to do.
