Might want to add some special techs for things like pods, Maso, and the transforming flight units (as unique fighter wings perhaps).

...As far as using someone elses' work without their consent first goes, that's quite a shitty thing to do.

I second MeguMilk's suggestion. Its annoying that you're forced to have one of 3 government ethics, it somewhat limits gameplay option.

I also noted a mod which allows the player to play as a synthetic race from the start, although I'm not sure if said mod is still around or up to date, it may be nice to make an "optional" mod to add this race to that.

Would you consider eventually adding machine portraits to the game? I really liked the machine designs in Nier Automata. They're rather simple but have a lot of personality, I'd love to play as them.

Ok, so modded Machine races aren´t compatible with each other yet since you need to put them in the same category.

This means you will have to either wait for Paradox to fix this, play with only one Machine race mod at a time or make a small compatibility mod on your own.

The portraits are with the other Machine portraits and it should not conflict with any other mod.

I changed the portraits to be with the other Machine portraits and it seems to work now.

I also notice in your recent picture your growth is 0/30. Mine shows 0/48, which is the same for non machine races. It seems like my Yorha species is not being registered as a machine race. I think what is happening is that my growth isn't accumulating because its acting like an organic pop which requires food. Since there is no food being produced (robot race) then the pop kinda bugs out and cancels. But thats just a theory, a game theory.

No luck unfortunately. Tried disabling all mods and only enabling this one. Remade the race from scratch. I also notice if I make the race and save it, then replace the appearance with the default robot races the pops build like normal : (

Pops still not building properly for me, they auto cancel after time passes. Also noticed they are not recieving any growth points. Using 1.8.1 beta patch.
