You can make a guide to change the images new with the original? i want change one or two

Awesome work! I think its pretty subjective so it would be awesome if there was a way to pick and choose which ones we use. I dont know if its possible to delete parts of the mod? A guide on that would be awesome!

I don't know of any tuto, I have found some infos by searching on the net. You're not the first one to ask me that. I think I'll make a tuto on Steam this week-end. If should be easier

How can I change them myself? I would like to test some images by myself, but I'm not an experienced modder, I have only made sounds & splashscreen mods. Do you know of a guide that can teach me change the god portraits & the bottombars?

@ dfert46 : Pas tant que ça en fait. J'ai repris le travail depuis début de l'année avec des horaires extensibles, j'ai d'autres jeux, encore 2 autres mods dans les cartons pour AoM + 1 pour Skyrim. En fait je passe plus de temps à faire des mods qu'à jouer ces derniers mois. Et puis bah, 26 ans, célibataire, t'as envie de faire autre chose que de rester dans ta piaule devant ton ordi quoi. Je suis en Haute-Savoie, littéralement au pied de la montagne, ce serait dommage de pas en profiter

Thanks for the comments and the pictures. I haven't had an Internet connexion for the last two weeks so I wasn't able to log on Steam. So, there WILL be a third version it seems

Concerning the pictures, they are in 168x256 in the game, so please think of it when you give me some links. So, now, my comments on the pictures you sent :

Fatal_Freedoms
- Helios : nice one, I think I will use it in the 3rd version
- Hermes : nice also, but I'm afraid it won't fit the main style. But I still keep it, maybe I will use in a more "fantasy" kit, I don't know yet
- Prometheus : love it too, I might use it, need to think about it
- Thor : don't mess with him !
- Loki : good, it illustrates well his mysterious side
- Sekhmet : closer to the original one, great pic

As demmastera said, this is a great mod, but some pictures in the egyptian & chinese gods don't look like they belong with the rest. besides that, awesome

Ce mod est super mais le problème, c'est dans l'Egypte, certains dieux ne correspondent pas avec les autres et je trouve aussi dommage pour la Chine parce que ca change un peu de style mais certains sont des peintures et d'autres des 3D, sinon cest cool !

L'idée de base n'est pas mauvaise mais les images sont trop différentes les unes des autres et ça donne un aspect très inégal. Avoir un style différent pour chaque civilisation peut être intéressant mais au sein de chaque faction, il faut que les images soient homogènes. Evidemment, il y a tout de même quelques unes de bonnes mais comme ça tranche avec le reste, ça donne surtout un aspect chaotique à l'ensemble.

Thanks for you comments. Since Steam doesn't want to upload the new version in one time (almost 500 files for roughly 48MB), I had to split it. You will find bottombars in an other mod. See description

I try to find a similar style for all portraits, but I haven't found a good gallery yet. This is my first attempt, there will be others. Some portraits will be changed in the future.

Some good portraits there, but I feel like the artwork is a bit inconsistent in style. Different art styles seem to be used, even for the same civilization at times. Its best for all portraits to come from the same artist, at least for each civ.

Hello everyone! As promised, I have started working on the bottombar (which is quite a puzzle). I have finished the first version for the Greeks. Look at the last picture to see what it could be in game. I might change some little details and textures can be stretched depending on your resolution, but you have the main idea here

You know, you can find plenty of pictures on the Internet for Greek and Atlantean gods (or which can be used for). Some others are quite well known, like Isis, Osiris, Thor, Freya, Odin or even Nu Wa. But for the rest it is more difficult. This is why I ask for contribution. Of course you will be credited ;)

I had some time those past days to work on the next version. Minor gods will have the same frame as the original ones. I have stored them in my files. The Greek one caused me pain in the ass, I'm sure you understand why.

Anyway, techtrees will also be changed. Icons will now have a shadow, like in the original techtrees.

Oh, so you don't managed to install it? I must admit I don't really see where can be your problem. Follow these steps :
1- Click on "Subscribe" button near to the name on this page or on the green "+" on the mod icon preview when on the search page
2- Launch Age Of Mythology
3- Go check in-game if the mod has been downloaded. On the bottom of the main menu, click on the Steam icon to access the mods installed list

There are may icons in the Age Of Mythology texture folder, so I had to find which one are used by the game. It is possible some are not replaced. This mod works on my AoM EE version, which is the last I think. So it should work for yours as well.
