Note this doesn't work with the Revised version of Rise of the Beastmen, but that's on that mod and not this one as it worked with the old Rise.

Nice mod to come back to when booting up TWW1. I can use Mixu and the such for TWW2 and TWW3, but this has no similar mod for those games. Shame the Ultimate version seems to crash when you enter a battle but this regular version runs perfectly still even after all these years.

@Devilslayer - Both mods edit the start pos file and for some reason you can only have one mod that can edit that file.

Cool mod! Vassals with a decent army is a great idea ;)

I just found this conflicts with one that offers a Steam Tank and Greatswords in the starting ranks for Karl Franz tho and this one conflicts with it :( Why, Oh why??

@gaery - I assume you can both play together without the mod? You having different DLCs could be an issue try my new version link below and on main page maybe that will work.

Hey shaky it dosent work to play with frinds we checkt the version number and both got the same mod. But if we wanna play together it says the versions not compatibel. Can it be because he have all dlc´s and me not? or what else is wrong? =)

My way is to make one unique Lord if you want all your vamps to be Wight, go to the two characters art tables, find the vampire Lord entry and edit so it uses the Wight king assets, one of the field in the table is uniform it will have vampire Lord currently change it to Wight king.

@Überguy Yeah I wanted to have a army of the dead with nothing but skeletons and maybe at some point with Krell at the head, but for now focusing on this Wight Lords.

@Shaky_Rivers Do I need to make a start pos for lords to be recruitable just for vampire count factions not on the map from the start?

Oh man, PLEASE make wight king for generals, the ♥♥♥♥♥ vampires are BORING as lords all the time, i want PROPER SKELETON ARMIES, for KRELL!

@calm - assume you've got the assembly kit downloaded. As I've said below add character to the start pos characters table. Then add new Wight Lord to character arts and character arts set table. Go back to start pos characters find your new character and in the overide general unit and portrait id fields (which are blank by default) choose the new Wight Lord you've made in the Character arts tables, all done.

@zoko - I've played a couple of campaigns with the mod and loads of balance testing campaigns and I haven't come across this issue and no one is reporting anything similar. Some races aren't allowed to do diplomacy in vanilla like beastmen. You could try deleting the mod and reinstalling.

@shaky_rivers Hey i'm having an issue with your mod where I can't perform any diplomacy actions. I've tried disabling mods one by one until this was the only one left and the problem still persisted. So right now I have armies ready for attack but I can't actually declare war on anyone. Or seek trade, or payments, etc. Is this something on my end or is this a known bug with a fix? Thanks.

@a privileged - It was easyish, two tables character art and character arts sets, add new record and I just used the art from the existing Wight king, then I added the character to startpos characters table and in the portrait id and override general unit field, I used the new ones I made in the former tables.

@Shaky_Rivers Was it a difficult process to make the Dread King, I'd like o try making a mod that allows Wight Kings as Lords or even make Krell a Legendary Lord. I just prefer to be a skeleton then a vampire.

@magma - Also this works with vanilla ROR, and should work with unit mods. The only ROR mod I can think of that might cause issues is Cataphs as you need a few mods one being the unlocker which edits the Start Pos

@sagara - When you start as Empire and helmgart and eilhart are owned by Reikland instead of empire secessionists then mod is working, if not check the above compatibility section.

@grandmaster - You can only do one mod at a time with the assembly kit and I'm still working on this one. But if you download the assembly kit, go to start characters tables you can add them there.

@Draigoch - You don't need to delete any other mods, I just unselected all my mods (I have around 35 mods) except this mod and it works fine, are you certain you have unselcted them all, also vampire counts do start in Sylvania but own another region in the badlands have you scrolled down the map?

weird, ive tried it with all other mods disabled... do i need to uninstal them??
If it helps, nor the news Leg. Lords shows up, just the normal ones... do i need all the DLCs??

@Draigoch - No other mods are needed, sounds like you have a mod that overwrites the Start Pos file, please see compatibility section.
@Count Wulfric - I'm doing good thanks, hope you've had a good weekend. Better than SFO that's really high praise, I'm sure many would disagree. I'm glad your enjoying the mod, I've really tried to make sure everything is fun, balanced and loreful and from my playthrough I feel I'm pretty near, a few little tweaks need to be made. My next mods will be for the Mortal Empire Campaigns so stay tuned and thanks for the support and kind words.

For any reason, this mod is not working for me, factions change their names but nothing more (vamp. counts start at sylvania, etc...): Do I need to use another mod alongside with this one??

Shaky, just want to say Hello to my favourite modder and ask how's going and wish you nice weekend. Still im in awe while playing your Goodby Old World latest mod is much better than playing with famous Steel Faith Overhaul and that is said by old Warhammer maniac :) . Keep going man with many more creations as each one of your work are not only modding GEM but actually very interesting addon to the game mechanics, lore friendly plus fun just as original Warhammer be it Tabletop or WH Roleplay. I have a problem. The game doesn't launch with Ultimate Chaos mod on 1 computer and works well on another.
