Not bad XD

@castroTheBarbarian
which one? The dragon armor is suppose to be like that (not sure if you played oblivion), and I couldn't think of anything better for the steel and didn't want it to just be plain. If it isn't in your tastes then all I can say is either suggest something, or don't use it.
No-Bark Hyena Feb 16, 2013 @ 9:31pm
it looks... gaudy...
RenegadeKnight  [author] Feb 13, 2013 @ 4:44am
@christos170
both, I had to split the mod.
christos170 Feb 12, 2013 @ 11:20pm
Which link? There are two of them.
RenegadeKnight  [author] Feb 12, 2013 @ 1:42am
Update 1.05 is available. Links in description
RenegadeKnight  [author] Feb 9, 2013 @ 3:24pm
@christos170
I'll probably have it up soon. Got some free time this week, so I'll have time to split the mod. They'll be a stormcloak and imperial version.
christos170 Feb 9, 2013 @ 4:44am
Also when will part two be uploaded here? With the improvements. I cant wait! I always thought the Imperials looked like crap and the Stormcloaks needed a differnet look than normal city guards. So well done and thanks!
RenegadeKnight  [author] Feb 6, 2013 @ 5:33pm
What was said is that it was only to be for the septiems, but that tradition ended with them. Their is nothing in the lore that states that the armor is for the CoC only, or that is even in use so the mod should be fine lore wise. Besides even if it isn't, I don't truly care that much. Never claimed it to be lore friendly and in reality all mods are lore unfriendly since well they aren't in the lore. Only the devolpers can claim what is or isn't lore friendly. It's find in my view and will stay as such.
RenegadeKnight  [author] Feb 6, 2013 @ 5:33pm
@jake
you've got several things confused. First the armor is not at all connected to the CoC, it is connected to the septiem dynasty of emperors. The CoC only recieved one after the oblivion crisis due to the fact, that the emperors were dead. The dynasty ended and the armor lost it's importance. Than we got a time of great chaos in between that 200 years. The empire was in the midst of a civil war with warlords trying to take power. We don't know what became of the armor at this point, but I could see it becoming a comain sight as warlords wearing sets to make themselves look more legitamate. Now as I said before, skyrim says nothing to say what ever happened to the armor so really I can say as I wish.
CoD:Black Ops 2 Feb 6, 2013 @ 5:01pm
Champion's actualy the highest ranking possible in the legion, not just a fancy title. I somewhat understand your work , but with only a 200 year time difference between skyrim and oblivion i dont think that would be enough time for the imperials to forget only champion ranking officer's wear dragon plate, and kings. Maby you could design a seperate armor for dragon knights. Just a suggestion. Would make the generals more lore friendly, and the mod better. Just my opinion though good work anyway thumbs up.
RenegadeKnight  [author] Feb 6, 2013 @ 1:21pm
@jake

part2
Each person wereing the armor represents an imperial dragon knight(which is the highest ranking individual from a province). Rikke would be skyrim's, tullius would be cyrodils(or where every he came from) and the rest would be from other provinces. Admittedly I didn't count them so their could be more than there is suppose to, but I don't think that's too huge a deal. As for tower guard armor, I plan on making another mod that replaces the emperor's body guards with that armor, as I figure it would be appropiate for the palace guards to evolve into the Pentius Oculatas.

Now the stormcloak armor is a work in progress. It's going to be a fusion between the steel and stormcloak officer armor, with some gold for galmar and Ulfric to show rank.

Now weather or not you like this is up to you. I don't plan on changing anything, so take it or leave it.
RenegadeKnight  [author] Feb 6, 2013 @ 1:21pm
@jake

part1
well a few things. The first is that the septiems were the only ones who were suppose to wear, not the champion. The champion of cyrodil is a fancy title given to an imperial dragon knight for doing something exceptional. With the huge gap in time between the oblivion crisis and skyrim it is never explaned what happened to the item, to the title or to the legion itself. Much could have chanaged. Now since this is both a mod and no where in the lore does it explain exactly what happened to the armor, I decided that the tradition of it being in limited use ended and it's just a high ranking imperial armor.
CoD:Black Ops 2 Feb 6, 2013 @ 8:36am
the stormcloaks should look more like barbarian rebels? while the imperials are more neat wearing matching outfits
CoD:Black Ops 2 Feb 6, 2013 @ 8:04am
The armor is personaly crafted for the champion or king of cyrodil. Only way you can get the armor is with 1 of those titles i think, 1 king at a time and that many champions all at once should mean the empire would be doing pritty well. In oblivion the armor was more a personal gift from ocato. And only the highest ranking imperial dragon knight can wear dragon armor, the champion. not all high ranking imperials were it. In the time of oblivion there was only 6 champions in the history of the empire. You could make the white and gold version for the elites, dragon armor for the dragonborn.
RenegadeKnight  [author] Feb 6, 2013 @ 5:56am
@ jake
what do you mean? I don't have everyone wearing, just the most elite in the legion. Persuming that the tradition of it being emperor only ends, then it can reasonably be assumed that all imperial dragon knights can recieve the armor(their is atleast one knight per province.) Tullius's bodyguard represents those individuals who were sent to skyrim to aid in ending the rebellion.
CoD:Black Ops 2 Feb 6, 2013 @ 12:51am
not everyone can have imperial dragon armor on, its made for champions.
RenegadeKnight  [author] Feb 4, 2013 @ 12:09pm
@s33k3r
good suggestions. I know the gold is a bit bright, infact the black is a bit bright as well so I may make it darker at some point in the future, though that won't be now. As for the scripting, I'll see what I can come up with. Not much of a scripter myself, but I may be able to figure something out.
Ideo Feb 4, 2013 @ 5:43am
Hey yo!

Nice work on your armors, i also got your imperial set mod so!

If i may, the yellow doesn't quite fit the ebony black, maybe you can make it less yellow sun and more gold if you have time? i mean the color of gold ingot and jewelry ingame maybe. bah try and see but here it's a bit too yellow like painting and lacks the touch 'gold embroided' mastercraft if you see what i mean.
Ideo Feb 4, 2013 @ 5:43am
another suggestion may be to design a heavy version of the penitus oculatus armor set, which lead me the my last remark. Your imperial set have a high armor rate, like ebony or maybe dragonbone. And the special bodyguards section of Tullius wears it. SO it must be an elite armor, and not just anyone should be allowed to wear it. Can you script something about it? either you can't craft it unless you're a full fledge legionnaire (when they say go to beirand for your armor set or something) or better: if imperial soldiers sees you with that outfit while you didn't already got back the crown
Ideo Feb 4, 2013 @ 5:42am
they try to arrest you like a criminal to get the armor back from your inventory and make you pay some fee, or kill you if you resist ^^ only logic that not just anyone can represent the empire with an elite legion armor. If you can push it, make it that guards in empire holds recognize your rank with a remark (like they do for some daedric artifact or a dragonbone armor) 'sir!' or something, and in stormcloaks hold they spit at you or 'you have some balls to come here showing off in your shiny legion armor' or even 'some day you'll all be dead or back in cyrodiil, mark my words'. well if you have time and want to add a little roleplay dimension on it, that is ^^
Outrage Jan 21, 2013 @ 4:51pm
dragon i also sent u a friend request plz accept i might have more suggestions for some of your mods
Outrage Jan 21, 2013 @ 4:50pm
so my suggestion is accepted then?
RenegadeKnight  [author] Jan 21, 2013 @ 4:43pm
appreciate the feed back/suggestions. I'd probably go gold trim and lighten up the blue cloth on the sleeves and legs to get it more into that stormcloak look. Also planning on adding some parts from the officer's armor to blend it more into the bear helmet.
s-cardenas63 Jan 21, 2013 @ 9:36am
personnally i like the gold trim steel plate armor over the full golden steel plate armor. it just reminds me of the elven armor.
Outrage Jan 20, 2013 @ 6:35pm
u choose
Outrage Jan 20, 2013 @ 6:33pm
maybe just golden steel plate armor with blue trim colors
RenegadeKnight  [author] Jan 20, 2013 @ 4:23pm
@DeathDevil
Though I want some more blue overall in there armor, making the plate itelf might be overkill. Would look a bit strange.
Outrage Jan 20, 2013 @ 4:00pm
chris change the armor color of uflric's generals and himself to blue and trim color should be red, im just suggestion this.
RenegadeKnight  [author] Jan 5, 2013 @ 3:22pm
@ s-cardenas63
interesting idea, and I could see it, but I also couldn't see it. The thalmor have no love for the empire and enjoy the fact that the stormcloaks are rebelling. Even though they don't really want a stormcloak victory, I think they rather have that than risk the empire regaining control.
I'll think about it as I'm not truly sure if they would or wouldn't intervene.
s-cardenas63 Jan 5, 2013 @ 12:26pm
in the ending scene in the battle for windhelm why not add some thalmors. this will keep up with the story that the thalmors rule over the empire. and that should even the odds against ulfric.
RenegadeKnight  [author] Jan 4, 2013 @ 1:30pm
@mystgun 971
which mod? Does it still occur if you just unsub without adding an additional mod? Also on a side note, you got to be careful with mods and should always leave a backup save especially for something like this which can effect NPC's and factions. The mod might be gone, but they can still leave footprints in the save files.
mystgun 971 Jan 4, 2013 @ 8:28am
when i had unsubscribed this mod to try the other one, general tulius and legate rikke plus two other npc's started attacking me :O
Bafau4246 Dec 31, 2012 @ 8:15pm
i think that ulfric and galmar should keep thair normal clothing but do more damage and general tullius and rikke should be more defence based?
RenegadeKnight  [author] Dec 28, 2012 @ 1:20pm
@b_oakeson
hmmm what do you mean. Dragon bone armor? Little bit more explanation would be appreciated. As for the balacony thing that would probably involve either messing with the civil war scripting, which I kind of want to avoid to keep it compatbile with other mods and because I don't have alot of experience with it. As for the thieves guild and companions, there both suppose to be neutral, especially the thieves guild since they're criminals. Kinda of wanted the body guards to counter the player and make things more difficult overall(was an easy three on two fight previously) and there involvement would kinda of throw that all off. Thanks for the suggestions though, if you can think of anything else feel free to suggest. Also I would appeciate a more detailed explanation of the armor you talking about.
b_oakeson Dec 27, 2012 @ 10:20pm
had a thought... what if when fighting the empire at solitude you could have the companions with you, and if you choose to fight the stormcloaks instead then the thieves guild could have already snuck in and positioned themselves within the palace to help take care of any excess guards that could tip the balance?
b_oakeson Dec 27, 2012 @ 10:17pm
maybe giving ulfric and galamar a Draconic Stormcloak armor with spikes on the shoulders. and just cause ulfric has studied to shout doesnt mean that tullius doesnt have a couple tricks up his sleeve, like maybe runnin through the halls a bit into a room with some of the penitus occulatus and have a balcony surrounding it on the upper level with a couple of archers. just a thought to try and make your unfair advantage issue fixable.
RenegadeKnight  [author] Dec 18, 2012 @ 2:28pm
@ IDGAF
yeah felt like doing something a bit bigger. Thanks for the support.
Coastalaxe Dec 18, 2012 @ 2:23pm
Glad you're doing more work on mods! I enjoyed the imperial dragon armor.
