Can you make a mod for orcs, there is no mode for orcs that allows orcs to trade with each other.

Ah, oh well. It's just that at this point in time I feel game II is actually quite worse. Especially regarding the diplomacy map. Lighting etc....

You only need the melee_weapons table, but you need to rename both the table and your pack with a letter that is earlier than mine. For example, if my mod starts with "d" yours should begin with a, b or c. The game reads the alphabet backwards when loading mods.

I changed the melee_weapons tables of your Orc units a long time ago, lol I was just wondering how can I make this separated from your mod. I isolated the values and saved on a different pack, but the game didn't recognize. I have to copy the entire structure of your units to make this work?

No it adds 200 total to the games. I have added so many unit mods there is 70-80 units per faction. I need this mod to balance out the orcs

It won't crash your game, but my units will not be balanced (either OP or weak), since they are balanced for vanilla.

But doesn't Radious already add like 100 units to each faction? I'm not sure why you would need this mod.

Well, with the release of Mortal Empires I don't really plan to return to this game anymore. To add splash damage you only need to edit one table: melee_weapons. Download PFM, open this mod and change the values to your liking. Then save as a different name and enable your pack in the mod launcher while disabling mine. And you're good to go!

I see.. So, either way, what you think about the splash damage suggestion? I know it's a pain in the ass to balance the units and etc.. but I think a mod that does that for orcs, beastmen and the lizardmen can improve the immersion aspect. I don't know how to do it, wish I could because I really want that in the game, lol

Hi and thanks for your kind words!

I had this report by a few others as well. I've never encountered it tbh and of course I haven't turned Azhag or Grimgor or anyone else into a Hero (I don't even know how to do that).

However, it seems this is a rare vanilla bug, because some people reported this in WH2 forums as well (before I even transferred this mod to Mortal Empires). Looks like the same bug exists in both games and has nothing to do with mods.

Grimgor is leading a Waaagh!, right? He is right in front. Notice how the support army have the own Grimgor as a unit, with some xp earned (4 silver skulls)... So, you made him as a hero unit? Or this is some sort of conflict with another mod? Saved by visual stuff, I am using the Advanced AI mod by Celtik. In this AI mod there's some tweaks to army composition, maybe that's the conflic? I am also using the 'Da Green Threat (expanding the horde spawn script)' mod as well, but this mod only spaws random orc armies using vanilla units, I don't think that's the conflict. And lastly, there's a mod called "Improved Orc Combat", something simple, splash damage for the big orc units (balanced for vanilla, just like yours). Isn't a good idea to implement splash for your units as well, make the orcs feels stronger?

@Train27 These units have been tested by the community over 3 different mods in WH1. Pretty sure they have been carefully balanced through all these months. For the Squigs just throw a couple of Spearmen/Halberdiers and they'll do the job.

In the end it's up to you if you want to use the mod or not and this freedom of choice is what I love about modding :)

My biggest worry as to go or not with this mod is if the units are overpowered or not.
I don't want to be stomped by the AI using 3 or 4 giant squids following a myriad of goblins and heroes xd

Well, I used 6th and 7th army books too as reference. This mod exists as 2 parts in WH2.

OK Now this is more like it. I prefered the 6th and 7th editions of Warhammer, but the Orcs were much better in 8th. You have captured that feel here. Fantastic work!

I'd be glad if you do. I wanted to play it pretty badly, old southern hordes was must mode, and I said I won't play Orcs until I can get this mod working in SFO.
I get that there's TWW2, Mortal Empires, and noone has time for TWWI, but still...
