@ChocoBlob Winona is an official vanilla character introduced to the PC version on September 13th 2017. You can play as her without mods of any kind. This mod only alters her stats.

I don't have this mod but I found Winona in my host game. Is that normal?

I really like Joehsnsoen's idea.

here's what i would have done with Winona:

*hunger-200 sanity-150 health-150

*trusty tape- can repair anything with durabilty but cost 4 silk and 1 rope

*great builder- crafting animation is 0.5 this includes collecting things like picking grass

*hungry worker- lose -5 hunger per crafting, but she also get slower hunger drain
Warly/1.33/-100 hunger Wilson/1/-75 hunger Winona/0.75/-56.25 hunger

small perks
*strong grip- nothing can make her drop what's in her hand slot, except herself
*1 free hit from charile

Thanks everyone for your feedback. The purpose of this mod is mostly for fun and not balance. After a few months pass I would like to evaluate changes to Winona similar to the "Better Balanced" series of changes/rebalances to characters and mechanics. I feel currently there isn't enough gameplay information about Winona for me to do a quality rebalance as she has only existed for a few days. Once I feel there is enough information about Winona to do a quality rebalance, likely in a few months and should she require it, then I want to do so but right now I don't feel as though I am able to. (Winona has only existed around three days which is not much time to be played, much of the previous characters have been playable since 2013! The other characters have seen years of play which is plenty of time to get information about them. )

I like the simplistic style of change with this mod. I would actually vote for a small con in addition as well, even something as small as she doesn't get as much sanity back from positive sanity sources (she's a tough cookie and easy to please) or something. I'll leave it to your own discretion ;)

On a side note, this mod would actually go great with the changes I made to my Hammer Repair mod :D I've added some synergies to how my mod works when you're playing as Winona

Since she has no cons, I think this mod should come with some negative perks

she's an awful character, why would you nerf her? everything about her is just a gimmick that doesnt really give her an advantage at all over any other characters. she needs not just a buff but an entire rework ..
