Sorry im pretty busy at the moment, i did not work on mods for a while now. If someone wants to they have my permission to update the mod, provided they ask me and add me as co-creator.
Oblivious Dec 9, 2018 @ 8:22am
Do you mind updating to 2.2?
Argual  [author] Feb 24, 2018 @ 1:13am
Updated to 2.0, made some balance changes (Robots now get +30% RP, so they effectively have +10%). Reduced Robot Build Speed to +100%, +200% was too strong early, had little impact late game. Pop growth speed reduced by 50%, to encourage robot building over pops.
Argual  [author] Dec 11, 2017 @ 10:21am
Mostly you will have a slower research point generation, but you can offset that by traits.
Argual  [author] Dec 11, 2017 @ 10:19am
Yes. All pop output. You will have to rely on expanding and building robots almost everywhere, until the robots are advanced enough to be put on research labs. (As robots do not suffer from the penalties, -20% to all pops but +20% to robots.
marky612 Dec 10, 2017 @ 9:31am
It also effects pop food production?
Argual  [author] Dec 9, 2017 @ 5:36am
Update: Now also gives Robomodding.
marky612 Oct 18, 2017 @ 3:59pm
I know of that one, I more meant one that focuses on increased building speed. Maybe like have a new civic where its basically a production line that's gone into overdrive. I hate how slow machine empires build, and this civic can't be used for them.

marky612 Oct 17, 2017 @ 3:38pm
Will you be making a similar civic for machine empires?
Socca Sep 27, 2017 @ 1:56am
Works now. Thanks again!
LordZ Sep 26, 2017 @ 2:20pm
o-o *reads comments* i hope i get the 200% build speed D=
LordZ Sep 26, 2017 @ 2:20pm
robot build speed 200% THANK YOU

this will work wonders with the crappy build speed synthetic dawn has.

seriously paradox? 100 minerals PER pop? and they grow way slower than organics? (and not you know the other way around).

the machine empire/race thing has kinda fallen flat on its face for me, too slow to grow and expand without mods. =p
Argual  [author] Sep 26, 2017 @ 8:58am
Can you check it now? It should work.
Socca Sep 26, 2017 @ 8:41am
Sorry to bother you again, but I am not getting the Robot build speed bonus of 200%, but all the the other factors of your mod apply.

in other news: Im blind.

Will try that out, again, thank you!
Argual  [author] Sep 25, 2017 @ 11:19am
stated*
Argual  [author] Sep 25, 2017 @ 11:19am
It is staded on the preview image (fanatic materialist and mechanist required)
Socca Sep 25, 2017 @ 10:54am
aaah alright, nevermind then, was just unclear since it wasnt stated anywhere. Thank you.
Argual  [author] Sep 24, 2017 @ 11:27pm
It works for me. Remember, you must be Fanatic Materialist and have the Mechanist civic selected already. And it won't show up for Machine Intelligence, that is intended.
Socca Sep 24, 2017 @ 4:19pm
This does not show up in the civics select screen. Neither as Machine Intelligence nor as a normal Empire

Your Growing pods mod on the other hand does.

@MinerSebas just use a mod called Stellar Expansion which adds a lot of techs, some of which increase robot resource output
Argual  [author] Sep 8, 2017 @ 10:45am
About the 2. question:
In my experience, this is a strong civic. I want it to require huge commitment. This is more of a "feel" reason, not necessarily a rational one. There is some "accepting and moving on" in order here ;)
Argual  [author] Sep 8, 2017 @ 10:45am
This is intended. You can negate the mineral penalty (ON PLANETS) by using your robots to mine.

This civic is changing your gameplay, but it won't make it super powerful. You can rapidly make robots, they will gather more resources (except energy and minerals of course). Also, their maintenance is enermously better, when you have a hundred robot pop, it is a huge benefit.

The civic is strong early because you can max out a planet faster, and strong late game because when you get synths, they will get extra 20% unity, research points on top of their vanilla bonuses. Also, you can replace your pops a bit faster. If I remember correctly, droids are almost as good as normal pops at research and unity gathering.

Oh, and ofc you will probably get those techs faster as you get 20% faster industry research.

Well, this textwall here is my logic :)
MinerSebas Sep 8, 2017 @ 9:51am
Interesting Civic, but two Nitpicks.

1.) The Mineral gains for Robots with this Civic are not stronger (-20% + 20% = 0%). Could you maybe change it, to an overall bonus of 5%?

2.) Could it be possible to change the Requirments, so that you also can take this civic, if you researched Robots?
Argual  [author] Sep 7, 2017 @ 10:24am
I didnt take it like that dont worry, I just usually try to solve bugs asap, so I told you and the others who may read to expect a delay :)
Deon ☣ Sep 7, 2017 @ 10:20am
Oh, one thing I don't want my message to be is to be a "request for immediate response". It was just a hint of what I thought could be improved :). Thank you very much for your dedication to modding and sharing.
Argual  [author] Sep 7, 2017 @ 10:17am
Oh lol, sorry, I thought i wrote maintain and you told me to change it to maintenance. Sorry, I just arived from school and my mind is a little tired. I will correct it ASAP, im just not home right now (unversity is far from home) and I don't have the mod files with me. I'll probably do it in a week or two. Thanks again!
Deon ☣ Sep 7, 2017 @ 10:08am
Maintenance is a noun. Maintain is a verb.

"To construct, maintain and advance" - 3 verbs.
In your description it's "to verb, noun and verb", which doesn't really makes sense from a structure of a sentence. Sorry for being picky ;).
Argual  [author] Sep 7, 2017 @ 10:06am
Also thanks! :)
Argual  [author] Sep 7, 2017 @ 10:05am
Not a typo, at least i don't think so. Isn't "maintain" the verb and "maintenance" the noun?
Deon ☣ Sep 4, 2017 @ 9:45am
There's a typo in the description: "to construct, maintain" not "to construct, maintenance".

I look forward to more civics, this is a good trend!
