Oh also, I couldn't find a way to actually buy weapons at the trader, and if you accidentally sell one of the ones you spawn with, you're boned.

Subscribing on the Workshop won't make the new weapons and characters show up. Follow the manual install directions instead (click on the "Aliens Killing Floor" collection to see them), it'll work perfectly fine after that.

Thanks for the mod, you guys did a good job of replicating Aliens, it almost feels like I'm playing one of the first two AvPs here. I will say however that I wish the Pulse Rifle sound was better. It's a bit off and doesn't sound good when tap-firing. Also the gun is held super high up, and the ironsights are unusable with how much space the gun takes up lol.

I have mine working, but with some minor bugs.

Can someone help me? If i select "Alien Mutator" and check "PatReplacement", the Pat will be Replaced with the Alien Queen, but if i chose "Alien Adder" and check the "PatReplacement" the Alien Queen will not spawn, just the normal Pat, is there any way to fix it?

Got it semi working. Thinking about putting up a server.

The only problem I have with the mod at this time is the weapons not showing in the trader. This problem occurs with KF versions 1065 and 1058.

Any news on this Mod pack becoming compatable again? id be up for helping get it updated if people have abandoned it.

Yeah coz it hasn't been updated in while....I read that they were gonna make a 2.0 with Hemi doing pretty much all of it because the other guys have busier lives to worry about than this....

@Bindal : We wanted normal killing floor folk to be able to join the servers and be amazed. Defence Alliance failed because the games couldnt be seen in the serverbrowsers of KF. This mod can. Maybe in the future we will release it standalone, but for now we do things with mutators.

Do you know why the game can't be seen in the serverbrowser of KF and what causes it and why this can where Defence Alliance 2 did not?

Any chance of this becoming one entire thing instead of a 4 or 5 part download since those 4-5 parts take up space for other workshop items. The size wouldn't matter to me if that was a problem.

I don't see any step by step instructions.

Really wish you they could've given a better explanation of what to do instead of telling us about the mutators and discription of what we'll see. But they need to have step by step explanation of where to put the right file into which spot.

i downloaded everything even the manual install and nothing works for me no aliens no guns no marines

hey I've downloaded all parts to the mod (including the manual parts) but the guns don't show up in the store, is there something extra i need? P.S. love the mod even with the few guns i spawn with, Im a big fan of the aliens movies. :P

I can't wait for your update for AKF, it's look amazing. But how about make Alien AI similar to AvP2? In AvP 2 aliens were fasters and that was creepy, especialy if they run on two legs... In mod they are slow and sometimes turn back instead of attack.

Same here, no guns in the shop, but you got the starting alien guns.

I am also having an issue with my KF guns, they alien mod guns wont show up in the shop but I do start with the alien mod pistol. Some help would be amazing, I've looked and there is not much information on this, thanks guys

Everything works except buying guns from the store. I spawn with the aliens guns but cannot buy anything else in the store. It just shows favorites with an expand arrow that reveals nothing. I tried all the steps below and nothing. Help me out here.

the store works, i can open it.... but the guns arent there? the killing floor weapons are there but the guns in this mod arent.
is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?
