wyrm, its prob because of conflicting mods that are also trying to replace the sound. Maybe get rid of some sound mods and see if that works, otherwise, I don't know.

It's probably the latter. From my experience modding sounds for games(Mainly Source games), the engine doesn't like it when you replace a sound file with one that has a different length and bit rate to it.

Huh, I guess it's glitched. I know what you're talking about. It's ear piercing right? Unfortunately that might be a result of the update. That or because all I did was change the oggs in Minecraft to wavs not paying attention to sound rates and bit depths. Sorry about it anyway.

I think some of the sounds for this mod may be bugged. I was hearing some high pitch screeching sounds like as if the game was having trouble playing some of the sounds.
