the large number of humans was an oversight and is now set to an accurate amount.
for now the pink story is fixed. I am making a new story system where more choices are available, i just am very slow at writing.

Probably stupid to ask, but is the pink diamond quests fixed, and is the human overpopulating the spawned earth fixed as well?

i just uploaded a patch for 4.1 it has some of the new features i want to put in, but uses the old story system. i will provite bug fixes, should i have missed any. i hope its fun.

not yet, and i wish i could give more accurate information, i am just currently in a bit of a motivational hole when it comes to stellaris modding and i do feel dissapointed in myself for how i left things at this time.

Also I did figure out where the pink diamond getting earth event is, I just read the names too fast and thought they said the same thing. When I manually trigger it, should the other events still automatically trigger, or do I have to manually trigger those too?

Btw, two things I wanna note, one, the 4.1 update changed the size of citysets, I don' think it'll be too hard to fix, as the citysets with static images are just offset. Second, I noticed a civic that seems to be an era 2 start, I don't know if it's always been there and I was blind or what, but it just gives the normal era 1 start events when I use it

No, but i am copying the english text into the russian localisation file so if you game is set to russian this mod will display english text whenever no russian text is available

@FRIEND I did search it up, but there's like, 3 different events all titled "pink get's earth" and I dont know which one is the right one to put into the command

yeah, i am sorry. I didnt expect things to delay me so much, i wish i left the mod in a better state, for now it is what it is. I am still working on it and its not forgotton, i lack time and energy to put into the mod right now.

i mean people wanting to experience it can always just go into the mod files and find the event, it's not too buried and you can search it easily, the console command for events is the same as hoi4, you do 'event <event id>' and it's good, it must be issues with the triggers for things probably because of the pop rework changing how things are triggered and calculated

I don't think too much, not as much as the IRL obligations i got going, as i and everyone else knew my estimations are way too optimistic. so the next update is ready when it's ready, i got this weekend to work on updating my mods.

But 4.1 was not a big hit to mod compatibility.

I am sorry I broke the Story, i dont know how i did it. I am on track with the rework schedule i set. so expect the complete fix (with a hole set of new bugs) this month ;)

Yeah saem I have had the earth colonized and still no events or any signs of the story going on I have had earth for more then 3 years and nothing been happening

ive had earth for like 100 years with gem production and there hasnt been any events

it is set up, so that after a year of gems being produced on earth, the story should advance

@FarmerGaming, by now pink should on her own take an appropriate colony. in era 3, she can be assigned freely.
I am currently reworking the mod, her era 1 content will change a lot. I am making good progress but i cannot say an ETA, this month or early october feels realisti tho. by now i am able to put in a few hours each day.
The Goal of the rework is to get rid of all of these bugs, i started this mod before lithoids came out, it is such a mess.

@Aym, i thought this diamond court thing would only happen on earth, so i wrote a fix, targeting all planets in the galaxy is really laggy so i only target earth with the fix. but instead of chasing this bug around i am focusing on the rework. it doesnt look fantastic but isnt a huge deal either.

I think it's player-owned worlds that aren't colonized by normal means that get the diamond's courts

For me in the modded system of sol the earth has all the diamond court effects and i didnt even colonize it so the pre-fle has all the effects

Oh, I dont know when or how, but the pre-ftl and the modded sol systems dont have the diamond's courts effects anymore, where they had all of them before.

Also, I think it would be fitting for the humans to be pre-sapient, instead of pre-ftl on the modded sol's earth.

I think all non-gem-colonized planets have all the diamonds' courts effects, as I started a new game as a non-gem empire and the capital planet has them.

Thanks for the feedback, i didnt had this during testing, i just checked the old code and i can see how it can happen. this will be fixed in the rework. it propably comes from the fact how pops changed, i created 7 human pops in the old system but instead of spawning in 700 now, i spaw in 7 pop_groups with an unset size and maybe that can lead to trouble.

Found another issue, when the earth spawned by the mod appears, it has WAAYYYYY too many humans than the world can handle

Ran into a bug, I think. When I attacked a pre-ftl, it got all the diamonds' courts effects after I conquered it.

I ran into that bug awhile back; some how i got Pink back immediately after winning the ground invasion rebellion fight, but lost the system to Pink Quartz. After about 20 years I got another Pink as a new level 1 and access to Earth. Weird but whatever lol

I did upload a little change, where the diamond court buffs are scaled to the diamonds following, as well as displaying a diamond following. The System is WIP, I want to add more to it.
I also ran into some bugs when you take Earth from a naturally spawned Sol system. So if you plan on a longer game, avoid that path and take the mod spawned one.

I might be able to, but I would need to understand how shipparts and models are properly implemented in the game. They have things like hardpoints where guns are shown, and I have done no research as to how easy or difficult that is. If all i had to do was write code, i could work myself through the games code and implement a gem shipset. Maybe if you tried your hands at it, you could use vanilla ships and model around the hardpoints.

Do you think you could implement ships if a volunteer contributed to the project? My modeling skills are a lil rusty but I think I could manage it sometime. They're basically low poly body parts in the show as is, seems easy enough.

i have not set up a gem fallen empire. So, they should have pink Diamond, but you make a good point, there pink and maybe at random other diamonds should be shattered, to show their fallen state. I also thought about your other idea, and i dont know if i should put them in an buildings, it would require the user to demolish a building to "move" the diamond ships. but maybe i can implement them in other ways. Not as space ships, as i dont have the 3d modeling skills

I think adding the diamonds' ships as buildings or planetary features would be cool, maybe a decision to "land" them or something to roleplay what colonies which diamond would be on at that moment. Just a suggestion

I uploaded a quick patch, unlike the last patch, this one does not require a new game for issue-free gameplay, it was only a balance adjustment, i think by now i have found all cases of low job or amenity numbers. If you find something where it is only a fraction of what it should be. Feel free to mention it.

There is now a policy to choose the Pop growth speeds. You are right, i overtuned it. The special thing I am going for is how many Gems can be made overall, as there is a hard cap on gem production per planet, based on how many kindergartens you made.

Looks to me like the gems decided to eat all of my minerals and grow our population to uncontrollable numbers.
Homeworld gains over 200 pops a month for me leading to +2 mineral upkeep a month.
And with mining districts taking nearly 6 months to make. The population just eats all the mineral production nearly instantly.

I fixed some issues and changed how pops are generated. it is quite the drastic change and balance feedback is needed.

the new update will be the last one for a bit, so i can focus on the acctual rework i want to do. but if a hotfix is needed for something i will go back on my word.
