Dude's collecting bounties like it's going out of style!

Does anyone remember a mod that added different colorful flame spells that had special abilities? That mod should be recreated one day.

So, in the ~commands, it lists three different spells - while they all are nice, my favorite iteration is also the one that currently uses the lightest amount of magic - it chainfires the flames, and can spew a nearly endless stream, without actually doing much damage, only applying the effect. If that variant could be tweaked and put forth as the main variant, that would be nice. I always considered the generic fireball (charge and release) to be too slow for combat.

i love the spell, but it's pretty weak
you think you'll do more powerful versions or allow it to be boosted by mods that has enchantments that make destruction spell stronger in a near future?

not appering in hand?

Hey I been playing with this some time now, I was wondering if you can make a Master Level of this power? Maybe use the *Nightingale Strife* animation deathball FX with the color purple that burst into the FX that it does when it hits a Dragon... It could be call Curse Flame Storm or something in does lines...or to make it simpler just make a Fire Storm Version, I seen it when I look at the Dragons when I hit it with the curse Flame that the effect is already there... so I guess it might be easier... i think... Anyway thank you again for sharing this mod with us it so cool!

By the Nine, this is an awesome mod; I tried recently and LOVE it! It’s so creative, tactical as you have to be very careful where or when to cast it and its very epic looking!
I want to make a request: Please make a RED Magnus Spell... it’s one of the most epic looking spells in the game (that and the Death Sphere of the Nightingales powers) ... there’s a very nice Mod I use called *The Hands of Magnus by Krilli Kovaks* yet it looks too Holy for my Vampire character... Can you make one that’s red, Burns with curse flames and absorb HP, MP but also the Soul? Naming it *The Hands Of Molag Bal* or something in does lines etc, you can even work with the Author of this Mod to make this new one! OMG it be sooooooooo PERFECT!!!!! :3

How odd... I found the tome in my original file, but in another playthrough I'm in right now, I'm not seeing it in the control room...

I love the visual of the cursed flames. Similar to Dawnbreaker my favorite weapon. You failed to mention that your Player Character can actually be cursed by the flames if they get too close to flaming enemies.

I found Faralda, but she doesn't have the tome for it. How come she doesn't have it?

I tryed buying it from Faralda but she doesn´t have it. I went to Nchuand-Zel and the spell tome was not there. Am i doing something wrong?

an unextingushable black fire from a very famous manga :)
the propreties of your spell are quite alike to those from that black fire..i suggest you to go and check it, maybe that could give you new ideas

Its kind of tricky. You need to extract the mesh and texture files to modify. Its similar to how people make armor and weapon skin mods.

So how do you change the color of magic, anyway? Was thinking of making a mod like this, but wanted the spells to look different from the vanilla ones, like a slightly op version of flames that's dark purple, etc.

Only one criticism: The flames are more of a light purple color; not blue.

You should talk to that Pheonix guy who made over 300 spells if yea want to give him your spell?

I want to design a new version as a seperate mod. I will consider having other delivery methods also. cone, bolt, fireball, rune storm, etc. It may be used in another magic tree. Some sort of sickness spell that is extremely virulent. resist disease and resist poison would both help counter/loer damage from it.

The people with the sickness run around leaving clouds of spores or something in their wake, and anyone who breathes them also becomes sick, unless they have a high disease resistance. then they take low dps at first that ramps up over time, the length of time they stay sick depends on how good their disease resistance is. Its still in the planning stages.

I love this mod by the way I use it alot and I mean alot.
Another idea would be the CursedStorm which is just like the FlameStorm.

Not currently, but I give permission for anyone to create a new mod that used this spell as a base and expand upon it.

Perhaps you are not high enough level for expert destruction skill books to appear yet. If so, try waiting for 24 hours a few times so her inventory refreshes. If all of that fails, you may have a mod conflict . Some other mods that also adds spells to her inventory will overwrite that part of my mod.

In any case, you can still find the spelltome as a book for free in the dwemer ruins in Markarth.
The spelltome can be found in the Control Room of Nchuand-zel.

Another idea when a mod blows up from the cursed flame is release random cursed fireballs.
