If you could add a function to make it so that great person improvements access luxury and bonus resources, that would be awesome. I just put a manufactory on a gold mine so.... Either production or bonus happiness from gold seems a bit too unforgiving.

Are these changes supposed to go unmarked in-game? Wanted to play Sweden and immediately noticed that they were still listed as obtaining 90 influence. Is that just a mistake? Tried running the mod on its own just to see if that issue was due to some overlap with other mods and it seems not.

I suggest for the improvement of both nuclear weapons to be changed as well, sometimes Nuclear Missiles and Atomic Bombs are easy to get and often used..:steamfacepalm:

I wish there was a patch for loading issues. Everytime I load a save it crashes, unless I go like 3 hours back. I know it's an issue with Steam, but I've had no issues with saving other games with or without the use of mods.

@edgewalker - The happiness penalty is actually designed to strengthen "tall" civs because wide seems outright more powerful (I favour wide by the way). This opinion may not be shared by others though, so I concede that it should be reverted. Huns change is mainly to strengthen their late game, which is quite weak. I kind of like that it makes them even more dangerous early game though. Will consider this more.

looked good till i got down to "nerfed missle cruiser" ... you nerfed the wrong cruiser my friend

I build about 7 missle frigates and use them to battle my way to counties coasts and then hold the world hostage with Nukes while i dominate congress or reserch...... now i need escorts for them cuz they are weaker ... ehhh idk how i feel about this mod/patch

It, and ever other mod, were acting like I didn't have any expansions- when I hovered over the patch to activate it, it said I was missing required components. I had to disable every active mod, then I could enable mods again. So no problem. It seems it started when I joined a game with no DLC, so all the mods thought I had it off. If I make any sense. If not, suffice to say the problem has been solved.

Oi. I've been using this mod for a very long time and I enjoy the fixes it provides. Why does it suddenly act like Gods and Kings expansion isn't on? (I checked, the DLC is indeed on).

Civilization V is very, very balanced. Yes, the missile cruiser is a bit OP but your changes make it underpowered.

I think this mod changes the wagon train policy in a way not listed. it says that the gold from trade routes is doubled, but it seems to remove the half-cost of roads

It would be appriciated if the diplomatic penalty for warmongering was reduced. It seems that in BNW if you attack one city state everyone including your closest allies will suddenly hate you.

Desart folklore does not need to be buffed. It preety much guarenties an advantage faithwise the rest of the game.

The founding belive should be chosen based on where you are, not which ever one you are used too.

this extends to the tundra one too.

Cannot build artillery with all the techs researched. Does not appear in the build list,
and I cannot upgrade my cannons either. Ruins the game. Is this compatible with latest patch?

Eric, that is good to know, but as I tried to read thru the comments when I first noticed this mod on the 23rd it did sound like it was trying to do to many things and would produce results unintended. I have a number of mods that I now use, not yet your mod, and I have had to remove some because of hampered game play. I am meaning to be cautious. I did try to read thru the comments and the doubts that were voiced concerned me, so I said so here. I asked for the feedback. Your feedback is appreciated. 500hours unhindered is great.

@inahut I have played over 500 hours with this mod and never had an issue. It's all XML changes which doesn't cause any technical issues.

too much doubt in the air in these comments. the problems with it sound real and are reported by persons who sound as sincere as the mod's author.
this is an awesome idea but is it worth the risk in practice
for me it is not
risk in practice, for me, refers to my use of this mod in a game that may last more than 10 hours only to be impeded by a mod that others report is problematic.
I would like to try it but my time is more valuble than the mod at this point.
Please, somebody, refute my negative concern.

There are other factors that are making your desert tiles give 4G. You probably built the national wonder + desert folklore. That will do it for only that city.

this mod needs some work becose i love desert maps (made a copple 4 personal use only) but the Desert folklore gives 1 faith and 1 gold (thats what it is saying) but if i play like 50 turns and look aggian it will give 4+ gold per tile now it is nice having 600+ gold but if a AI gets it well try taking on sombody if the trow 50+ units at u every 8-10 turns.

Alright megapatch. I made a few of my own edits for when I play:
I took out the changed Dance of the Aurora and Desert folklore bonus,
Reduced Reliquary to +200 faith,
Reduced the Mausoleum to +200 gold
Reduced Initiation rites to +300 gold,
Reduced Divine Inspiration to +4 faith per wonder

if you guys could also add a new resource: electricity - it would be so much better. you should gain electricity by building improvments with the workers and not by converting production in your cities. Thus adding a strategy element in combat and in the working titles of a city! nice work!

It amazes me that there are very few comments that describe how this mod is. Like the quality of it. It's a bunch of stupid questions. According to the description, there are a lot of changes in this mod, and I don't see any comments that address them, only a few. Not the creators error of coarse. I wonder if I will ever view comments that don't have " how do I download this"?
