@honker thanks for the details. Do u have any plans of making anymore Chicago style housing? Ive been looking for a brick version of your 2 flat to go along with your limestone

What up man. first off thanks for all of these dope assets from the Chi. I'm from NY but I spend mad time in Chicago and for better and worse, I love the city. So I'm building it on CS using crazygluits map and a ton of your assets. I have a question though. How should I know which model of the building (1:1 -or- 1:5:1) to use in my build? I've laid down roads for the Bridgeport, Mckinley Park and Armour Square hoods. I'm also trying to correctly place fire, police, schools, hospitals, water treatment/sewage, transportation lines...Now I'm adding in homes and the scale looks odd for some things compared to the base game.

I do use Move it. If it comes down to it I'll use that mod to get it in the right place.

By the way, thank you for the content you've made for this game! This new building is one of my favorites among many of yours. I visited Chicago last year and it's nice to be able to have many of those buildings I saw, in my city.
honker  [author] Jan 25, 2018 @ 5:05pm
Okay. Do you use Move it? Also I updated the asset again to fix the name in case that was causing the problem
JJ_Shiro Jan 25, 2018 @ 3:29pm
Thanks for replying so quickly! Didn't expect that kind of response. After loading some previous saves, it looks like it's Network Extensions causing the issue. I had installed the mod yesterday, and was able to exit the game and reload saves several times without any issues. I noticed your asset was updated today. That's why initially I thought it was this update.

After disabling Network Extensions I was able to get the save to load. The building doesn't appear, but I can sort of put it back. The only issue is the game won't let me place it flush in a corner, at an intersection. However, I can place the building one space away (if that makes sense). I would post a screenshot but I gotta get going, I'll check back in later.

uh oh! one sec

I think you broke my save game :(

Note: the following assets are used in your city but could not be found. You should get the assets if possible. These cases can break savegames.

@maganomics no problem, I'm glad you figured it out
Zlaayer Jul 29, 2017 @ 1:06pm
I figured it out. Aedificium doesn't hot load LOD models effectively. I usually have to restart for LODs to appear. Sorry for bothering you.
honker  [author] Jul 24, 2017 @ 7:06am
@djjimmybeats thanks a bunch! it's a hot building. i'm jealous if you have a job downtown!
honker  [author] Jul 24, 2017 @ 7:06am
@maganomics it does have an LOD model. the lobby at the base behaves weirdly, not sure why yet, mentioned in description that it's my first time using subbuildings. lights on the model are of various dimness. is there a chance nobody was working there?
Zlaayer Jul 23, 2017 @ 10:32pm
This has no LOD model? At medium range it disappears, even with adaptive LOD distance mod. Also the lights are rather dim for such a new asset. I love this building, though. Please fix these concerns.

dude props! So crazy I was walking by this building on Wednesday while heading to wirk and was like, that would be dope if somebody made that in cities. Thank You!:

@Crazyglueit thanks pal! it's a nice flag. I like the california bear if we're talkin flags tho
Crazyglueit Jul 18, 2017 @ 7:26pm
Chicago has one of the best city flags. So simple and clean.

Oh ya great building:47_thumb_up:

Nice!
