guys the kar98 of verdun is the kar98AZ it was a carbine gifen to cavalry and sturmtruppen

Actually the K98 Kurz (short) was mostly never used by regular forces. They where invented for the Gebirgsjägers. But it was invented after Ww1 like Thesnuggle smuggler said.
Btw its sounds pretty sweet

Verdun is set in World War 1. The Mauser Karabiner 98 Kurz did not exist during that timeframe, but you did have the Mauser Gewehr 98, which was a similar, older ancestor of the bolt-action itself.
