:steamhappy:If anyone wants to use boots of speed but not worry about fall damage from running down hills, etc. Try attaining the feather-fall boots from the steam mod, then type 'help "feather falling"' into the console commands. use the perk ID to use 'Player.addperk XXXXXXXX'. this will stop you from taking the fall damage.
SaNd Jun 7, 2017 @ 9:00am
can you disenchant the boots?
anna Jan 30, 2016 @ 11:26am

Zocary Oct 19, 2013 @ 2:50pm

Sir Nukesalot Apr 27, 2013 @ 10:46am
i found a bug, whenever i uunequip the boots my character is stuck in place and unable to move. but upon equip again, i can move :c
Stormbow Feb 26, 2013 @ 10:26pm
For those too lazy to read the comments here to find the location of the boots:
(Spoiler alert)
Walk straight through Calcelmo's Museum (the area with the huge dwemer robot in the center) to the Laboratory. When you enter the Lab, turn left, follow the left wall to the very first room on the left. Straight ahead, inside that room, is a pair of Dwarven Boots of Speed on the left side of the table.

NOTE: If you take the boots, and reload your saved game, the boots will not be there again. (I have no idea why this is, but it just happened to me.) You will have to give them to yourself using "help Speed" and then player.additem ########## (whatever the armor item code is).
Morgosus Feb 19, 2013 @ 11:04am
should be Dwemer..
*BYE BYE* Feb 15, 2013 @ 10:51am

Cashbox Aug 17, 2012 @ 11:04pm

k1ttensausage Aug 16, 2012 @ 7:46am
where is it?
UdderlyEvelyn Aug 12, 2012 @ 12:48pm
Flying spells were removed from the game/engine after Morrowind, when they switched to Gamebryo (I dunno what MW was on, proprietary or older Gamebryo..), so that stuff isn't readily possible AFAIK - unless it was re-added more recently to the engine.
-CSM-Gotlieb Jul 23, 2012 @ 11:25pm
Where is that?
Krumbotor Jul 15, 2012 @ 8:45am
@author: I found out, that the effect of the speed enchantment scales with your enchantment abilities. At least if you got a mod that uncaps the strenght of an enchantment(for example more than the vanilla 25% for skills) Thats even more awesome. Now I start to feel sick changing the direction while running around^^ Although the downside of this is, that you die easiely, if you run over a cliff, since the game does calculate the damage from falling not only by the altitude but also by the movement speed. Main reason for death is now running downhill. Maybe you could reduce the damage taken from falling too, in your mod? And maybe you could add to the enchantment description a percentual indication of how much it will increase your movement speed? Please? ;-)
Skylordquasar Jul 3, 2012 @ 7:05pm
are you going to make the boots of flying
Krumbotor Jul 1, 2012 @ 1:17am
This mod is absolutely awesome!!! Though I will have to get used to the speed ;)
†Moon Enjoyer† Jun 18, 2012 @ 10:45am
@Valmaren could you make daedric boots of flying mod? and tell me if you made it
BlibBlabBla May 22, 2012 @ 9:09am
cool
malgrumm Apr 3, 2012 @ 1:27am
reminds me of the boots you can get in morrowind
EnderZero Mar 23, 2012 @ 7:39pm
There is a mod cakled enchanment cleanser or something like that .... It will remove the stolen marker... But also the enchant... Easiest thing to to jusy disenchant quick
Aldrearic Mar 17, 2012 @ 8:50am
@egd
try with set ownership
then its your item and the ''stolen'' maker is away from item
dandelione Mar 16, 2012 @ 8:14am
@jfosaken1: caps lock to walk. with the speed buff actuve, you're going as fast as you would be at a non-alt run. shift becomes your new sprint, only you don't lose stam. and your regular sprint key turns you into The Flash.
dandelione Mar 16, 2012 @ 8:12am
@egd: disenchant them asap. it'll save you the issue of putting them on every time you want to go fast and the whole 'they're stolen' thing. admittedly, in earlier gameplay, giving up the foot chant slot is kinda wonkey, but the speed buff is totally worth it, considering you can "sprint" out of just about anything. quotes on that because if you do literally sprint(alt) you go so fast that anything save dragons loses you in seconds. who needs a horse?
egd Mar 15, 2012 @ 9:41am
Is there any way you could remove the "stolen" marker from the boots? Every time my character gets stopped by the guards, they're removed with other "stolen" items.
Forsaken1 Mar 9, 2012 @ 11:58pm
As soon as I picked up these boots--without equipping them--my character's run/sprint speed slowed to a notable degree. With the boots equipped, run/sprint was really fast...actually too fast for me as it was hard to control my charater. Without the boots equipped my speed was still reduced, and I also noticed that I had this issue with each saved game after picking up the boots, but reverting to a save before picking then up and everything was fine. After unsubscribing, I reloaded and still had the really fast run/sprint even though my character was bare-footed! Anyway, with unsubscribing and reverting to my last save before picking up these boots, everything was normal. What a pain in the A$$!!!
[FU]jepperkake Mar 7, 2012 @ 4:12am
Shouldn't boots of speed blind you? :(
Warsun Mar 6, 2012 @ 4:44am
So this works on Followers? Because i got a problem with falling or jumping down cliffs an roads an having the follower show up after i got a mod down to like 30%.
(Unoriginal Name) Mar 5, 2012 @ 5:54pm
If you use the infinite enchanting power exploit (not sure of it's common name), with this mod, you can probably enchant for almost infinite speed.
Kezza Mar 5, 2012 @ 4:26am
@[jan]kyuzo
Just open the console and go help "Dwarven Boots" 0
kyuzo Mar 4, 2012 @ 7:37pm
the boots are great but i would like to know the console code so i can add the item since i screwed up and lost them. reinstalling mod does not fix the this and reapply it to the museum area.
johnweythek Mar 4, 2012 @ 12:49pm
i just increased my enchanting and they made me go WAY WAY faster. i suspect the speed scales with enchanments, for people looking for blinding speed.
ZerothDimension Mar 2, 2012 @ 6:08pm
love these boots. using the enchant feels less like cheeting than simply using the console to edit speed. easier to put the boots on and off than typing the console codes. thanks.
egd Feb 29, 2012 @ 2:52pm
I love these boots and used them all the time but my Nord lost them somehow...maybe and vicious dragon fight. Is there any way to get another pair?
TS [~MLS~] CelticFrag Feb 27, 2012 @ 12:21pm
@SynfulOne Ah ok
Syn Feb 27, 2012 @ 8:08am
lore wise they do not exist but atleaste he references Dwarven boots of flying from morrowind >_<
TS [~MLS~] CelticFrag Feb 26, 2012 @ 10:42am
Where are the Boots of Flying?!?!?!
