@Piwah Well my Elder Scrolls have been weighing 20 since I got them so I have about 80 pounds of Elder Scroll. Maybe it's USKP or something. And @NZ Sol I think you can give the scrolls to the moth priest.

elder scrolls cant be sold to anyone but the librarian in winterhold college.

BTW, this doesn't work on the Dawnguard Elder Scrolls.

For those that are too ignorant to do research, until you finish the quests the Elder Scrolls weigh nothing. However, once you finish the quests, their carry weight becomes real. I have encountered a glitch where I can't sell my Elder Scrolls, so this mod is very helpful.

The elder scroll doesn't wight at all so pointless it might change the number of weight but it still doesn't weight so you don't trick me with your pointless Mod!

ponitless the weight is merely a number after selling them your weight isn't decreased. Quest items only have real weight when they are no more quest items.

jimjampanda Jan 18, 2013 @ 8:17am
you lot are all idiots there quest items so they dont add on to your weight anyway so this is just a complete waste of time

you can sell the scrolls if you are a vamp hunter to the moth priest, and in the college of winterhold aracanium to the orc. (not before you complete dawnguard cause then u have to buy it back and when you do you cant sell it back.)

The Elder Scrolls (Including the ones in Dawnguard) may say that they weigh 20 pounds, however, like all other quest items, they are actually weightless. If you have an Elder Scroll (or Scrolls) and empty your inventory (except for quest items), you will have a final carryweight of 0/X, X being your MAX carryweight.

The scrolls are quest items, so they dont weigh anything.

1. Foxclaw is right, quest items (which elder scrolls always remain) are weightless.
2. All 3 elder scrolls can be sold, the default one (Dragon) to the winterhold orc, the 2 dawnguard ones to the moth priest.
SpaceFox40K Nov 10, 2012 @ 3:23am
U do realize that the Elder Scrolls are quest items and that quest item weights are not counted on your maximum capacity which means... all this mod does is change a displayed number, not actually anything ingame.

I love you
