Even if it comes very late congrats on getting your map ingame as official addition. The game surely needs lots of additional maps.. Now we just need a proper Tanith map remake which also was a fantastic map back in ns1 days..

love your work, keep it up, im still trying to work on my map as well so i know how long it takes, but it looks really good and as always, i offer an extention of the olive branch if needed =)

@Awful McBad, I still have a large number of rooms to detail, and the recent change of hive room from Generator to Auxiliary Generator needs to prove to be a good fix. It's playable now, but with a large portion looking more like an NS1 map.

anyone else having problems getting this mod/map ? tried everything ..... wont download in steam workshop , wont download when trying to join the map in game , just sits on 0% the whole time ...... wasted an hour trying so far , getting quite frustrated

@The Tick, I had a tech point in the center during early development, but with the center already being a strong foothold to have with just one res node, it was a little overpowered as tech point.

@|-DMD-| Rusty, with elevators not existing in (vanilla) NS2, it's all gotta be ramps and stairs. I doubt the community would appreciate elevators by now, even if it were possible somehow.

Lots of memories from NS1 - that's for sure. One thing you are missing was that elevator in Shipping Tunnels. That elevator was such a big pain in the ass - as well as the vents overtop from the arcing positions. It was a lot of fun though. I'm really thankful for your time you put into this map and I have it running on NS2 Diamonds for the time being to test it out. - Again thank you - and I can't wait to see it when you've got it done. :tsalogo::diamond::tsalogo:

Got the map added to my server, ticks BG #1, I have checked the map out and looked quite playable already so I thought I would give ti a go, maybe a tip, the middle looks really tempting for a tech poiunt :)

alien do need some cover in the tunnels. then again, they need speed to vastly grab those human necks... i personally think it will take eons to perfectlly fit a map with templates. especially one like Science_Lab. plan your layout alongside this fact. good example is Triad. respect for your work though. when you think about the time valve puts in a map for a game like l4d, everyone knows what not to expect. Thx

I tried to publish an update today, but for some reason it broke the map and I cannot figure out what's wrong. I'm sorry it cannot be played at the moment, I hope that soon this foul magic will dissipate as inexplicably as it appeared.

Hello, I'm here on behalf of Flaterectomy to say that he hasn't abandoned caged. He has had an accident which has resulted in an overly long stay in hospital. He will return and begin working on caged in the near(ish) future.

@Doktor Mandrake - If you live in europe you should check out the Spark Crafter Collective UK server, has a 100% custom map rotation. You can find caged and other custom maps being played there.

Lol Flaterectomy, thank god this game will never require a gold account, or "hats". Oh how I miss the days of NS1 though.
