Kind of. You're think of a nav mesh. Nav meshes show where the ground is for nextbots, so they know where they can walk and where they can't. Nodegraphs are the same, but they show the entire map's geometry. Nodegraphs mainly help with spawning.
I could be entirely wrong tbh.
