According to the wikia page (http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Marriage) , he's not marriable in the original game. Perhaps you installed a mod that made you able to marry him. Marriable Follower Ralof is such a mod (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=78641656) .
Cr33pycat Jul 14, 2016 @ 12:08am
im married to him
Julien P. E.  [author] Jul 13, 2016 @ 5:57am
He's not marriable in the base game, I believe.
Cr33pycat Jul 12, 2016 @ 1:37am

Well, he did say that he'll be back. Seriously, though: I don't see it.

Why does Aela look like Arnold Schwarzenegger?
Julien P. E.  [author] Dec 3, 2015 @ 8:14am
Hmm, I haven't had any trouble with this quest myself, and you are the first person to complain about it, but I'll keep a look out for others who might be having the same problem. Could you maybe post which mods you have installed, so that I can compare it to potential future cases?
ishee Dec 3, 2015 @ 5:17am
mabey it was just my game but the quest where you have to attend your marrige cerimony would fail
Julien P. E.  [author] Nov 29, 2015 @ 12:55pm
What quest are you talking about? This mod does not alter anything related to any quest.
It merely changes the appearance of the marriable characters in the game.
ishee Nov 29, 2015 @ 7:46am
this mod caused me to fail the quest no mattter what diolog options i pick but the modes look good so i give 8.5 of 10
Julien P. E.  [author] Jul 16, 2015 @ 7:32am
I'm glad you enjoy the mod and thank you for your kind words!
Fayde Jul 16, 2015 @ 1:13am
Awesome - Confirming that this mod works as described, and adds a level of asthetics without breaking immersion or barbie-dolling the characters.
No problems noted, no conflicts with any of my installed mods. I recommend this mod, have now rated, and added to my ongoing collection

Thank you Julien P.E for your creativity and effort with this mod

Cheers

Yes, it does :)
TieDyeTulips Jul 15, 2015 @ 5:26pm
does this work without skse?
Julien P. E.  [author] Jul 13, 2015 @ 11:58am
Well, that's great to hear! I hope that that will continue to be the case :D
Fayde Jul 13, 2015 @ 10:40am
Well, I loaded it up from SKSE icon, went to Riften, and Mjoll still had her warpaint... I went into LOOT, and the mod wasn't ticked, even though I'd first started Skyrim from the browser and ensured the mod was there...
BUT - this IS Skyrim, lol. So I exited to desktop, reloaded my game, and Lo, there she is, paintless yet scarred, the tweaks applied. AND Loot has the mod ticked now!
So - I can say that so far, that is the entire extent of my dilemma (in short, no dilemma - this appears to function as the Description states it will!)
I am very happy with this mod so far...
Julien P. E.  [author] Jul 13, 2015 @ 8:18am
No problem, enjoy the mod :)
Fayde Jul 13, 2015 @ 7:14am
Awesome!
Thanks Julien for the fast reply!
Julien P. E.  [author] Jul 13, 2015 @ 1:01am
Thanks, I have, until now, never had any reports of conflicts. I, myself, also use quite a few mods and have never experienced any problems.
That being said, I can imagine that if you have other mods installed that adjust the facial structure of one or more of the affected characters, there may be some conflicts. However, I do think that, if you have such a mod, the one last in the loading order will take preference by skyrim.
I don't think you will be running into any instability issues.
Fayde Jul 12, 2015 @ 10:12pm
G'day Folks - thinking about this mod, and wondering what - or if any - other known mods conflict in anyone's experience?
Mod looks great!
Cheers :)

I downloaded it from the nexus, but it seems to have been renamed since I found it to Bella's Beautiful Females. Here's two different versions I found:
Normal:

Natural:

Proof has been delivered ;)
elliott Nov 2, 2014 @ 11:45am
Walked over to her without the mod, and NOW i see them.
Julien P. E.  [author] Nov 2, 2014 @ 4:45am
Oh yeah, but they aren't that prominent as the war paint covers them.
elliott Nov 1, 2014 @ 4:55pm
Wait, Mjoll had scars? Did not know that one....
Julien P. E.  [author] Oct 13, 2014 @ 2:13am
Such things were so much easier in Morrowind, most lines there weren't actually spoken aloud haha.
elliott Oct 12, 2014 @ 7:59pm
agreed, my freind/modmaker. agreed
Julien P. E.  [author] Oct 11, 2014 @ 10:59pm
Honestly, changing those lines is easy. Problem with them is that if you change them, she'd either no longer actually say the line or she'd have a different voice (I personally cannot afford to hire the voice actress).
I suppose one could completely get rid of the lines altogether, but that seems like a waste as well...
elliott Oct 11, 2014 @ 10:37pm
yay! someone treated lydia! now... if only someone would fix the reluctant tone she can have at times ('i am sworn to carry your burdens')
Julien P. E.  [author] Aug 30, 2014 @ 2:35am
Hmm, I'm not entirely sure how that would work, if I have time I might look into that, but currently, I am working on making my own game. As you might understand, that requires quite a bit of work and time.
burr003 Aug 30, 2014 @ 2:32am
can you make something so warrior wife can walk around house in leathers or dress and add making leather armor for kids
Julien P. E.  [author] Aug 19, 2014 @ 8:00am
Haha, indeed :P
Griff Aug 19, 2014 @ 2:17am
well I'll be an imgas uncle... That's one thing I didn't expect from bethesda...
Julien P. E.  [author] Aug 19, 2014 @ 2:13am
Indeed she is... guess they did think of both options for the elderly XD
Griff Aug 18, 2014 @ 6:11pm
Well, isn't viola a marriage candidate?
Griff Aug 18, 2014 @ 6:10pm
indeed, perhaps they couldn't find an elderly female voice actor to provide marriage dialoge. But even when I play as an elderly Man, I still marry younger women.
Julien P. E.  [author] Aug 18, 2014 @ 1:11am
Very true, I wonder if they forgot or simply didn't want to add one, doesn't seem like too much an effort to add, to be honest.
Griff Aug 17, 2014 @ 6:19pm
true, true. Though a heterosexual option for an elderly male would be nice.
Julien P. E.  [author] Aug 17, 2014 @ 4:35pm
Haha, I didn't either, until I checked at the wiki, was kind of shocked myself, at first. Then I thought: well, if you have an old character, it could make sense. If nothing else, it's nice of Bethesda have thought of it :P
Griff Aug 17, 2014 @ 3:25pm
i didn't know you could marry the old guy in solitude... I am horrified....
Julien P. E.  [author] Aug 3, 2014 @ 11:36pm
Well, that's okay. We all have our own preferences, which makes mods so great :)
