i love this mod i could use a bear and 3 max followers

so thats how it works i remaber getings this years ago and now relooking for a mod for tameing bears i came accrosse this one agean so all i need is a calm spell mmm ok by the way i got a couply ideas that could be nice to have in this mode like haveing a spell that summons your pet to you as well has one that idk put it in a pocket univers for if its geting in the way the summons would be nice if you lost your pet for someresion

A bit disappointed with this mod. I couldn't find a mod that allows you to rename animal companions, and I wanted a fox named Pumpkin, but I remembered one already exists in the vanilla game. I got a brilliant idea to use this mod so I could have my very own cutiepie fox named Pumpkin, but when I used a calm spell on him, and successfully tamed him, his name changed to Tame Fox. And yes guys, to tame both wolves and foxes you need a calm spell or any effect that disables the 'fight or flight' response in wild animals.

im trying the wildlife overhaul, makes some wolfs shy so i can get close

For anyone having trouble with this mod: It does not work with Ultimate Follower Overhaul. As mentioned in the description... (probably other follower mods?) I got it to work correctly after removing that mod. :)

To tame a hostile wolf, use the dragon shout called Kyne's Peace (and possibly Animal Allegiance).

I highly recommend these two mods to go with Tamable Wolves/Foxes:

Im having the same problem most people are with the wolf. Is there a mod confliction possibly? or what? Do I need more Vension chops? I've only been using one. Please help me out. Thank you.

I know how to tame a Wolf. The wolf must be in a cage so it can not attack you like at white river watch near whiterun. Thats how tamed a wolf!!

It works well for the fox but I can not do it with the wolf doe! Still a good mod. :)

as much as i press e on a fox with over 20 rabbit haunches, nithing comes up. the reason i got this mod was because foxes are my favorite animal, and if i cant tame them, this is pointless. please look into this error.

Does this not work anymore? I am replaying after a year and now when I try it, with the right meat in inventory, all i get with a fox is "hey there". No taming. Please fix.

Because I had a Rabbit Haunch , pressed E on the Snowfox , but no dialog popped up (even if it said E Talk)

@ChloeScottieTerrier You can also go up to High Hrothgar, read all the emblems and get the Voice of the Sky active effects that makes animals ignore you. Then walk up to a wolf and talk to it. That's how I did it.

ok the only way to tame a wolf is to sneak up on it (UNLIKLY!!! :P) or get mod "Realistic Wolf Behavior" thank you for looking at my somewhat helpfull comment... though Roxy is a wolf and Vigilance is a wolf is better because its a dog wearing wolf armor so they are dogs in wolf outfits :P not wolves with bulging eyes, but still im trying not to make this comment an add, thanks for the mod, :P i smacked the like button.

Um... I have the vension chop AND the rabbit haunch but after i use "Calm" on a wolf or a fox all i can say is "hey there" is there a way to fix that?

They'e great companions. Even if they are terrible fighters, they can carry heavy items and are super cute when following!

My fox died in battle so I eventually tried to tame another, but I couldnt talk to foxes anymore. A glitch maybe?

Guys, you can't tame a wolf unless you calm it. If you walk up to any wolf and try to feed it, it's going to attack you. As for me, I'm a Wood Elf so I use the Command Animal power, but for any other race ou need a Calm spell.
