[ZM] Darkflame, I was listed in Shine NS2Stats beta, he just has no added me yet (thou he has done all the coding for NS2stats Shine Plugin).Yes Ghoul is part of the team now.

It is recommended to start using NS2Stats shine plugin http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/132378/ns2stats-shine-plugin , old version will still be updated until most servers are using NS2Stats Shine plugin.

Because Shine ns2stats is coded so that it does not need to be updated between patches usually. Old one always needs to be updated. Old and shine ns2stats has different coders too. I'll now start to look into ns2stats lua to update it for new build. Ghoul checked/updated Shine ns2stats earlier.

How comes the Shine version of ns2stats is ready for 258 but the old one isn't?

[ZM] Darkflame: ns2stats shine version is ready for use and it will become main ns2stats mod. So if you can start using shine version, you should install it (remember to get old key from ns2stats_advanced_settings.json if switching to shine). I'll update normal ns2stats for patch today later when i have time in work or after work.

[UPDATE]
- Mod tested to work with 257
- Added extended scoreboard, works with console command 'es' or 'extendedscoreboard'. Shows extended stats for players who are currently playing on the server.
- Update status interval changed from 120 seconds to 30 seconds. This will update extended scoreboard stats every 30 seconds.

Yes its updated to 255, but 254 version worked too, if key is empty after you server has started/closed then you server's stats do not work, since it is used to verify server on ns2stats.com . You should not touch it if you do not know what you are doing. awardsMax is amount of awards shown on screen after game ends. There is not many awards anyway so rising that number does not do anything atm.

- Updated lua for build 254
- Added logging of chat messages. Chat messages are shown with the round data.
- Added UWE stat logging, this includes total deaths & kills & assists & score, playtime, skill. Not visible on ns2stats.com yet.
- Removed jump achievement tracking for now (sorry).
- NS2stats is more compatible with other mods now.

Due ns2stats.org domain expiring, we are going to use ns2stats.com as primary domain. Mod updated to use .com domain. If we are able to rent ns2stats.org domain again, it will be used to redirect to ns2stats.com .

Can you PLEASE update this mod for 251? The friggin GL's are going off like constant tactical nukes. They are bugged! Please fix this ASAP. Had to disable this mod due to abuse of this exploit.

We just played an epic 152 minute game with NS2Stats enabled but it's been over half an hour and it still hasn't shown up on the website.

How long do games take to submit and display?

In ns2 its possible to have client side settings for mods which persists from server to server. So its planned to be able to enable/disable killstreaks on client side. So if player has not used enable/disable then it would be dependant on server if they are played or not, otherwise to player's own settings. This would mean that you could enable killstreaks on every server which is running stats or none. Combat mod is not supported atm. But its planned to be supported and hopefully will start to work in a week or two.

@ Wub, i've previously asked for the kills treaks and kill streak sounds to be separated, as kill streak sounds ruin traditional NS2 game play but they are well suited to Combat mod i think :)

If something, I believe the killstreak + UT-sounds should be a seperate mod/plugin instead of being integrated to NS2Stats.

Last comment reminds me to add an opt-out for clients for the UT-sounds, or at least mute them. It's slightly annoying to see some servers ruin the gameplay with features that users do not want, even though in the end it's the server's decision to do so. The client cannot avoid or blacklist servers using different mods yet, there is no personal blacklist like Source games have.

@ Synomi, thanks for your reply earlier, turns out my lag was being caused by an CPU issue that was resolved.

Now in regards to this mod and Combat mod, compatible or not?

I can't get the two to work together, every time i enabled NS2Stats, all combat levels fail to load which is a real shame as i was looking forward to actually enabling the kill streaks (UT sounds and all) :)
